When someone kills a prominent political voice engaging in peaceful policy debate in order to silence that voice, that is an attack on the very right of citizens to change government policies through public debate and electing representatives who will express that will of the citizenry.
If some radical nut killed say, Bernie Sanders, in order to remove his political perspective from the process, it should be no different, that person also should get the death penalty.
In these situation the attack upon our civilization is graver than the attack upon the individual person.

I like Kash Patel but in these high profile cases I’m uncomfortable with the deluge of information coming out about the killer, before trial. Fertile ground for change of venue, restriction of evidence, appeals etc.
Patel and others should be more reticent in their rush to the microphone.

So the roomate knew about a written statement claiming that his roomate boyfriend was going to kill someone, knew what it said, showed LE where it had been written (even though it was destroyed—and maybe he destroyed it) so they could pull forensic info but he didn’t know said roommate/boyfriend was driving 2 hours to a Charlie Kirk rally to kill him. No way. The trans boyfriend knew ahead of time and needs to be charged (after he spills the beans).

Perhaps this is not possible, and shows that I watch too many crime shows. But, couldn’t the FBI get a warrant for the server that was used for this chat room or message group- then determine who sent the message, and who received it? There has to be a digital record of this, unless they wiped it. You know, like with a cloth.
