Russian Drones Allegedly Swarm Poland in Major Provocation...But Whose?
Simplicius' blog ^ | 9/14/25 | Simplicius

Last Sunday Russia launched a large-scale drone attack that was again described as the “largest ever” with some sources counting 805 total drones and decoys launched:

It was followed up on Tuesday with another large attack of over 400+ drones and 50+ various missiles. This strike stood out as a significant number of these drones reportedly flew to Poland, and quite deep into the interior of the country at that, which has never happened before.

As always there were two versions of the story, the “topside” propagandized one where Polish and NATO officials tried their best to carve out an angle of deliberate Russian ‘aggression’, not letting the incident go to waste. And then there was the ‘behind-the-scenes’ version, which painted the incident as much more ‘controlled’ than it seemed, where diplomatic channels calmly coordinated the response.

More specifically, Belarus was said to have warned Poland that wayward drones—which were being affected by Ukrainian EW—were headed their way, with reports even claiming some rogue drones had to be shot down over Belarusian territory as well.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wiesław Kukuła, announced that the Belarusian side warned Poland about drones approaching its territory.

In an interview on TVN24, he noted that such an attitude was surprising in the context of the tense situation at the land border. At the same time, he emphasized that the Polish side decided to make use of the provided information and did not abandon cooperation.

This is a good sign. Let us recall that in a conversation with Patrycjusz Wyżga on the program "Didaskalia," Colonel Piotr Krawczyk, former head of the Intelligence Agency (2016-2022), clearly stated that the West’s policy, including Poland’s, toward Belarus should be based on pragmatism to avoid pushing ...

Lots more at the link. I often fault Simplicius' personal thoughts, but his ability to gather information from numerous sources is excellent.

Lukashenko appears to using Russia's current difficulties to put a little more distance between himself and Putin. A wise thing to do if he doesn't wish to be swallowed whole.

He also recently released about 50 political prisoners including some ethnic Polish leaders from western Belarus. This release was supposedly made partly due to a US request.

Lukashenko may be trying to mend some fences with Warsaw and keep Belarus from getting dragged into a bigger conflict.

This can’t be possible. ALL the western MSM assured us that Russia is running out of men, ammunition, drones and is collapsing.

I’m no fan of the lamestream media, but I don’t recall it ever saying that Russia was on the point of collapse.

Not hard, I use T.Me, and view the truth. The Western media is nothing but lies and omissions from day one.

“”””” I use T.Me, and view the truth. The Western media is nothing but lies and omissions from day one.”””””

That explains why you thought Ukraine was ended as a nation in 2022, then again in 2023, and yet again in 2024, I haven’t seen you make that claim yet this year, and October is approaching, even 2026 is getting nearer, you may have given up on it.

“Trump even sent Lukashenko ... an additional gesture of goodwill in the form of lifting sanctions on Belarus’ state airline Belavia”

Wow really??? That is a big change. Must be something bigger than I thought going on behind the scenes here

Of course no one has said that, but certain people want us to constantly argue with their false narratives.

Poland recently closed the border because of the migrants being pushed across, and has asked China to intervene with Lukashenko to get Belarus to stop transiting migrants because China has an interest in an overland route to Europe through Belarus.

Putin's obsession with the Ukraine War may worsen Russia's position far more than the Russians seem to realize.

And given Trump's and Vance's Alfred E. Neuman "What, me worry?" approach to foreign policy, we may find the Chinese involved in European security and Russia may find itself squeezed on both ends by China.

If you think everything you read on Telegram is true you might want to send me your bank account numbers so I give it to some guy who says he can transfer a lot of money left over from (insert fake story here) and Prince (insert name here).

From what you post I suspect you only read the pro-Russian Telegram channels.

Just the truth: you'll be back under the yoke of the Great Khan for the first time in several hundred years.

And the US is likely to find all of the Eurasian landmass allied against it.

Lukashenko is a consummate survivor.

The thing is that he isn’t good for the Białorusi people. We have nearly half a million Belarussians living in Poland (total number of Belarussians in belarus is 8 million approx). Lukashenko essentially destroyed białoruski language.

It would be good to have him neutral for longer, but is it good to prop up a dictator who destroys his country? It makes sense in the short term, but does it make sense in the mid to long term? I don’t know
