The House of Representatives on Thursday (11 Sep) passed the "Stop Illegal Entry Act," which increases potential prison sentences for those who are convicted of repeatedly illegally entering the United States.
The proposed Stop Illegal Entry Act of 2025 is part of the Trump administration's and the GOP's efforts to discourage illegal immigration and related crimes.
Eleven Democrats joined with Republicans to approve House Resolution 3486, 226-197, and sent the measure to the Senate, where a similar measure has been introduced, Roll Call reported...
...The measure would set a mandatory prison sentence of at least five years and up to life for those who are convicted of a felony after illegally entering the nation.
The resolution also increases to five years the prior maximum sentence of two years for those convicted of repeated illegal entry.

Not enough.
First illegal entry 2 years federal prison timed no early release no parole no two for one with trustee. Two years to the day. No possibility of every getting citizenship OR A GREENCARD it’s a lifetime ban on presence inside the USA this is to include tourist visas,student or any other visa you are banned for ever setting foot for any reason on US soil.
Second illegal entry mandatory 5 years club fed again to the day.
Third entry is a habitual offender and therefore a capital offence three strikes you are out level law. Death penalty only by hanging, firing squad or gas chamber all USSC approved federal level death penalty methods. No appeal , no waiting period conviction is adjudicated the next day at high noon sentence is carried out.
This law should apply retroactively but ex post facto would get it thrown out so going forwards. Anyone already illegally present has 30 days to leave it they catch their first charge under the new law and it’s servicing takes effect.
Millions would leave on their own vs risk 2 years hard labor and getting a lifetime ban.
A second entry should be met with losing all limbs prior to deportation. Send them back in a wheel chair.
A third entry conviction should mean losing the eyes, ears and tongue. Send them back in a gurney or a box.
With a mere penalty for a second entry condones the act itself. As far as I a, concerned, it is an act of war and offenders should be shot. We shot Germans invading other European countries.

We need to grow a pair. A filibuster can be beaten. Make them stand on the floor reading the phone book until their bladders give out.
