Keir Starmer sacks Peter Mandelson as the UK's ambassador to the US, after he faced mounting scrutiny over his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein

A Foreign Office statement says the decision was made "in light of the additional information" in emails written by Mandelson

"The emails show that the depth and extent of Peter Mandelson's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein is materially different from that known at the time of his appointment," it says...

Starmer told MPs on Wednesday "I have confidence in him", when pressed on his appointment at PMQs

Modified limited hangout by the UK’s Deep State.

Rest assured that there’s more where Mandy came from.

The question nobody’s answered is why MI5 and MI6 allowed Epstein anywhere near their pols, bureaucrats, businessmen, and royals.

And continued to do so for almost two decades.

Chicken or egg? Did Trump not like Mandelson because of Epstein, or did Trump use Epstein to dump Mandelson, whom he didn't like to begin with?

The answer is kinda obvious—Epstein was working for a bunch of intelligence services—including British intelligence.

Epstein was a middle man/broker type.

He sold blackmail data on influential/powerful folks all over the world.

Mandy is Deep State.

The UK has one, too.

That’s why Trump doesn’t like him.

Mandy is Deep State. The UK has one, too. Thatโ€™s why Trump doesnโ€™t like him.

That's what I think too. Instead of releasing the Epstein files, Trump prefers to use the Epstein files as leverage against his political opponents.

Does anyone really think that Deep State left accurate, actionable files for Trump to review?

Come on, man.

That said, I’ll bet the president knows plenty.

And what he does know could destabilize governments and countries.

That’s not something you want to do willy-nilly.

It depends on your definition of “actionable”.

This thread is about an “action” that happened as a result of releases so far.

The releases have been a nothing burger.

And nothing has happened.

I’ll include Mandy’s sacking in that because he’ll just be replaced with another Deep State stooge.

The president is dealing with the Epstein problem as he sees fit.

Since I trust the president, fine by me.

Yes, how else do you explain the sudden dismissal of Mandelson? Something went on between his appointment just three months ago and his sudden dismissal. Starmer says himself that it's because of Epstein, and I believe him.

If the theory that multiple Deep States were using Epstein to run the mother of all honey traps is correct, then Deep State’s already know what Mandy got up to.

Their problem is that they can’t be sure what Trump knows. Or if and when he’ll use what he knows.

That’s why Mandy is gone.

My bet is that whoever replaces him will still be Deep State, just without an Epstein connection that can be blown at an inconvenient time for them.

You can define everything that happens from here on out as a “nothing burger” if you wish.

This party is just getting started.

Some names may be hidden to protect the guilty.

Correct—several intelligence agencies are neck deep in the Epstein matter.

Denial (seen a lot around here) is not a river in Egypt.

Lol.

the reason is that Mi 6 was using the services Epstein provided. there was never an overt black mail. Epstein provide extra legal services to governments corporations and the extremely wealthy. the young women being trafficked were not used for black mail they were just enduements to do business. Black mail of extremely wealthy people on the level that Epstein was alleged to be doing is extremely problematic. they have the resources to have you killed if you are a problem. This makes it more likely that there was a service being provided instead by Epstein other then blackmail.
