WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A mother has filed a lawsuit against Solomon Schechter Day School in West Hartford, claiming a former teacher’s alleged tickling and harmful touching led to lapses in all five of her children’s education, opportunity and community support.
The children also all suffer from the same life-threatening medical condition, which is “exacerbated by stress and emotions,” according to the lawsuit.

5 kids with same condition?????
MANUFACTURING ERROR???
Sounds a bit fishy to me.
According to the article it appears the lawsuit is claiming something more sinister than tickling.
Mommy is shaking the money tree?
The notion of common public schools is dead. Its only that the corpse is still warm and twitching.
Rare medical conditions do sometimes cluster in families.
A friend of mine, after getting cancer and observing that cancer seemed to pop up a lot in her family although not the same kind, got tested for Lynch Syndrome.
Turns out yes.
Kids got tested and turns out that only one carried the MMR gene but he will have to always be alert for signs for the rest of his life.
Her cousin got tested and he has it as well and passed it on to all five of his kids.
Life is not fair sometimes.
If it’s a legitimate medical condition, a public school would have had to take them and make accommodations. It shouldn’t take a year to get them enrolled in a public school.
From the article, seems the teacher did wrong but the law suit seems exaggerated about all so effected by parent trying to change their school and them missing school time.
