WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Monday cleared the way for federal agents to conduct sweeping immigration operations in Los Angeles, the latest victory for President Donald Trump’s administration at the high court.
The conservative majority lifted a restraining order from a judge who found that “roving patrols” were conducting indiscriminate arrests in LA. The order had barred agents from stopping people solely based on their race, language, job or location.
Trump’s Republican administration argued the order wrongly restricted agents carrying out its widespread crackdown on illegal immigration.
U.S. District Judge Maame E. Frimpong in Los Angeles had found a “mountain of evidence” that enforcement tactics were violating the Constitution. The plaintiffs included U.S. citizens swept up in immigration stops. An appeals court had left Frimpong’s ruling in place...

I am certain that no demographic factors were considered when Frimpong (is that like ping pong?) was nominated and voted out.

Her nomination helped to fulfill President Biden’s pledge to appoint more female and minority judges; the White House press release announcing her nomination noted that Frimpong “would be the first Black woman to serve on the Ninth Circuit from California, as well as the second Black woman to ever serve on the Ninth Circuit.”[9][10]"
Interestingly she was nominated by Biden four years ago today.
They will let just about anyone be a Federal Judge.
She rules like a 3rd Worlder.

Like any dictatorship (a hoped-for dictatorship, so far, in the Democrat's case) the tyrant has a gang of judges that rule via judicial fiat, rubberstamping and giving the appearance of legitimizing the ruler's edicts.
The Dems have been playing the long game with these 3rd world judges.

With all those credentials you’d think she could get this common sense ruling right.
That’s what I thought, too. She sounds like a smart person, but not very bright.
Isn't this what DUI roadblocks do? They stop EVERYONE who is at a specific location.
Sober drivers are "swept up" in roadside inspections, but are then released to drive away after the stop.
So what's the difference with that and an immigration inspection at a location?
