Oh hello! Or as they say in Michigan, as-salamu alaykum!
According to Fox 2 News, the police department in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn Heights celebrated the new patch as a symbol of … diversity or something.
Police confirmed to FOX 2 on Wednesday that the department has a new optional patch that officers can wear as part of their uniform.
The patch includes the Michigan seal in the center with the words ‘Dearborn Heights Police' written in both English and Arabic.
According to police, the patch was created by Officer Ermily Murdoc, who designed it to reflect and honor the diversity of our community.
Dearborn Heights is more than 50% Arab. Some families have been here since Henry Ford imported them to the area a century ago, but more and more have immigrated, turning the city into an ethic/religious enclave. Many signs for local businesses and restaurants are in Arabic, and the city hosts the the largest mosque on U.S. soil.
Here is an example of a recent civic event.
The social media response to the new patch was about what you'd expect:
Unsurprisingly, the public seemed to be less than enthused about the change.
The police department disabled comments on the Facebook post for the public.
I wonder why…
“Almost any sect, cult, or religion will legislate its creed into law if it acquires the political power to do so.” ― Robert A. Heinlein
M/StP......the gauntlet has been tossed. You gonna let Detroit get away with that? You should make the Arabic the larger font and the nasty English smaller font. Step up . 🤔😳
Imagine the outrage if it was Hebrew instead of Arabic.
Indeed
Selective diversity of a community in action.
With the patch, now if you resist arrest, police can just shoot you.
Police??? Sharia law supersedes infidel law. Women in Dearborn Heights are dressed inappropriately. Prepare for slavery. Jihad continues apace.
Detroit was ceded to the terrorists a long time ago. Other cities will follow, until we are all required to speak arabic, that is unless things change drastically and soon.
That’s right isn’t it Europe?
Can the Catholic cops have patches in Latin?
The united states of EU (yoops I call them) wasn’t even a good idea. Letting hundreds of thousands of people who want your stuff move right in? Even worse idea.
Old America was the Melting Pot. It worked. It worked beautifully.
Today’s America not only accepts division, it celebrates division. Such behavior will inevitably lead our country to the same end as Yugoslavia’s.
Maybe the Republican Congress could do something useful, and pass a law making English the sole official language for all government activities.
I dunno. That might require a Constitutional amendment.
Give it a go anyway, GOP. It’s now or never.
Ermily Murdock? They misspelled Enemy.
Make them go all the way and force the women in the community to wear Burkas. If they don’t want to wear them, then they can vote the islamic traitors out of office.
Meanwhile the Dims say that the real threat are Christian nationalists.
Well if they can wear patches that represent the middle east, then cops should be able to wear Christian or Jewish or pro Trump patches, stickers for cars, etc etc etc.
It would be equally wrong and is wrong if it’s in any language other than English
This is the problem with modern-day immigration. They want to turn the US into the hell hole they just left. Early immigrants wanted to become American citizens. Time for the Polish approach: No immigration.
Well kumbaya!!... I’m feeling the love 20 miles away!!
Michigan is run by the 3 witches. The patch stays. Has anyone checked to see if it translates to “death to America”?
Yes. Know both enemies by their WORDS.
Will they enforce *our* laws where they conflict with Sharia? Such as honor killing?
Can the Black cops have patches in Ebonics????...................
