Russia Will Return its Frozen Assets Given to Ukraine Through Land — Medvedev

MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. Russia intends to recover its frozen assets in the West and transferred to Ukraine by reclaiming them "in kind" – that is, through land, property, and real estate," stated Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. Commenting on London's transfer of $1.3 billion in profits from the use of Russian assets to Kiev, Medvedev emphasized via his Telegram channel that, since legal avenues are unlikely to succeed, the only realistic method is to return the valuables physically – namely, Ukrainian land and other real estate and movable property located there.

He clarified that his remarks do not pertain to the territories of Donbass and Novorossiya which, he affirmed, already belong to Russia.

Medvedev further accused Britain of handing over Russian funds to neo-Nazis, describing it as an act of theft. He asserted that this situation grants Russia the legal right to demand compensation from Britain and the current Ukrainian government.

This development follows the British government's official announcement that it transferred $1.3 billion to Ukraine – profits derived from the use of Russian assets frozen due to sanctions. Additionally, Britain is reviewing its military readiness, with plans to send forces to Kiev contingent on a ceasefire.

When Russia sues the EU countries for stealing assets, it will cost the EU country tax payers the amount plus interest.

The entire western trade system which is currently the international trade system depends upon trust. The slow death of this trade system is in part due to the fact that Washington is on the hook for 21T in debt with our tradeing partners. At some point, if these countries wrote us off, and stopped trade the system would collaspe - with Trump’s sanctions costing many nation states their total foreign USD foreign currency reserves... the writing is on the wall.

What happened in China cannot possibly be lost on the west who is doubling down on stupid - we are not too big to fail - it will just be like a tree falling in the forrest and no one will notice when we are gone. That is hard to imagine for Americans, but our predatory policies are going to harm future generations - why? Ukriane.

NATO and the US/EU have been waging a 30-year war against Russia, and they are now of the opinion that this relationship is not healthy. The west has no more military depth, yet we are an expansionist enterprize by design. We need wars to keep our MIC economy running. But the eastward creep of NATO is over, and the west is in denial that Russia has finally said no.

The lawyer tricks and talk about Ukraine wining are BS. The EU will have to pony up the frozen asset values in the future. The politicians who are doing this will be long gone but the people who they do not care, for they have imported mulsim rape gangs to replace them, are only interested in their own person power in their EU system at this time.

The only reason this war has taken so long is that NATO never once calculated that they would be empitied of their own military power as Russia destroys it in Ukraine. Russia has surpassed NATO in depth and capability conventionally. The west has burned it all, and now they are destroying their financial system which they will replace with digital money.

The way to win for the west is to sanction the rest of the wrold, right? You go Trump.

Has anyone actually realized that Russia is essentially self sufficient in resoruces. The US has to import stuff, but Russia has all it needs in the ground.

Trump burned relations with India over 85B in yearly trade - let that sink in - sanctioning the world as our entire financial system requries stealing Russian Assets now to sustain the EU and Ukriane is icing on the cake for the failure of Trump’s Sanctions.

The world is not going to be held hostage to the USD, and the US will no longer be in control.

So the EU in Brussels will collaspe and the EUropean nation-states will argue that they are not resonsible for stealing the Russian Frozen Assets - ha!

To effectively deter wars of aggression, the aggressor nation must LOSE territory, and not jut give back what has been occupied. This happened to Iraq in the Gulf War. There had been a bit of bit of disputed territory called the Saudi Arabian–Iraqi neutral zone. Iraq lost its claim to that bit of dessert because of the war. To prevent future Russian aggression, Russia must be compelled to leave disputed territories it occupies, not just in Ukraine, but also Georgia, the Kuril Islands, which had been Japanese before WWII, Kaliningrad, and possibly even what it took from Finland in WWII. Russian troops also need to be removed from Belarus and Moldovan Trans-Dniester. Then there will be peace.

You are correct in your assessment of reality. Even I don’t want to see us directly engage Russia in order to retake territory, which indicates the sensitivity of committing the world to fighting back.

Probably the solution to this would be if American Air power went in and actually reversed the position of the Russian army, but for sure we would be taking an incredible risk. Also, Trump has zero intention of doing that.

I do think he will look for some way to roll back the Russian advances if it’s possible without committing NATO forces directly.

For now, he still is hoping to do it with oil.
