The Devil Is in the Details

President Trump is making many valid changes. A major one is doing away with politically deceptive Department of Education (which Reagan wanted to do), thus returning our children’s learning back to the states and counties – where it belongs. The President has also eliminated the Evolution centric UNESCO education. Now, if we are going to have any hope of finishing the job, of removing the Marxist dumbing-down of our children those states and counties should, next destroy every textbook on every subject and start again from scratch. If (most likely the case) they do not, Trump’s action will be worthless – less than worthless – the average parent will think sound science, reason, and logic will have returned to the classroom. This is political deception of the highest order, visible in open leftist opposition.

The same problem holds true with the great scam of Climate Change. Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

This knowing the fact that the original study of “climate change”, written by numerous pseudo-scientists was edited to scare the bejesus out of you. A great number of eminent scientists demanded that their names be withdrawn; they were not going to be used to promote one of the biggest lies foisted on the world’s population. In spite of the truth being out on the faked man-made climate change, the mainstream media, being a party to the scam, hid this truth to the masses. The global elite are still sounding the klaxons and crying that the sky is falling, and the unawake or aware citizenry will remain captive to the lies.

The people must be informed of the lies they have been fed for 33 years, but it is very hard to wrap your brain around the fact that almost everything you’ve been told – been fed since kindergarten – is wrong. That the horrible things you’ve been warned about are now, somehow, supposed to be the true state of the world.

It’s like when I worked at a law firm in D.C. A secretary was kind enough to let me know the “ins and outs” and gave me the chatter on what was going on behind the scenes. I’d been there for nine months when I learned she was a pathological liar. It is very hard to go back and undo, unlearn, what was true then and now was false. That’s what a majority of the people – those awake enough to realize they’d been bamboozled – are dealing with now. It must be hard to hear for decades that CO2 is good, that we need and love it, while, without it we die along with the plants and the rest of life on our planet, clearly a monstrous political deception.

On top of that, we have a local county mayor here in Tennessee who wants to do the right thing, but obviously, he has been indoctrinated (probably by the National Association of Counties or other NGO set up to steer our elected official, especially newly elected ones, in the wrong direction. This county mayor recently announced his county’s 10-year plan – straight out of Sustainable Development, better noted as UN enslavement. This mayor says he has an open mind wants to hear from his constituents. We need to be talking to all those officials. If we don’t, we are equally guilty of neglect.

I’m not going to even address the COVID lie here. Just realize that there are so many lies we have been fed for decades. I think that as people wake up to one and then another and another, they will become vigilant like us – verify first, then you can ingest it. This is the first step in bringing reason and logic back to life in the world.

Once you wake up to one lie, your brain is a bit ajar and will not be as gullible next time they hear a “correction” in the state of affairs on these issues. And when many of us are waking up to the lies and corruption, we are rightfully mad, and as the movie line goes many of us agree, ‘I’M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE! ‘” “I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell – ‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

Now, instead of yelling (or after yelling), those who are awakening have an obligation to do something about it. They must get active and help those of us who have been in this battle for decades put a stop to the lies. The one sure way is to take back your city, county, and state.

It starts at the bottom – at the local level. President Trump can shut down the Department of Education, and any other one he wishes, but that does nothing to take it out of the schools, offices, churches. Yes, it would if he could round up every textbook and enlighten every teacher, but that is pie in the sky. For that, he is depending on us.

Hillary told us “It takes a village”. Close, but no cigar. It takes an educated citizenry. We the people who have been watching and learning what and why our world was rotting from the inside out, are one by one taking charge – educating our educators, mayors, presidents. We have the information. We have been collecting it for over three decades. But it must be used, not sitting on the bookshelf or in our minds. We still have time before it becomes too late, and we are in a war of guns and bombs instead of truth and ideas. Our children deserve to have their day in a free world.

Let’s see that they do. Just wake up, stand up, meet up with local officials, speak out, and join to bring the America of Washington and Jefferson back.

Chesty Puller the famous Marine General in the Korean conflict once noted at the frozen “Chosin Reservoir” “Boys, we have them right where we want them, we are surrounded.

This is America, and winning is always the only way forward.

Yes, getting rid of the Dept of Ed won't be enough. Have to worry about textbooks, not to mention the indoctrinated teachers we have in schools. Trump should have the Dept of Ed mandate Hillsdale's curriculum for a few years & then shut the department down.

The rats shoved America hating text books into the schools and it has caused a lot of problems.

“Trump should have the Dept of Ed mandate Hillsdale’s curriculum for a few years & then shut the department down.”

The U.S. Department of Education does not have a direct say in the curriculum for state schools; curriculum is determined at the state and local levels by state departments of education and local school boards. While the federal government provides funding with certain conditions and sets mandates for standardized testing through legislation, it does not create or dictate specific curricular content or how it is taught.

So what we are talking about is not control by department, but by blackmail. More than one way...

I know that the DoE doesn’t have direct say, but somehow they managed to get leftists (like Bill Ayres) installed & figured a way to get leftism into every school across this country. If Trump came out with an executive order, at the very least it would cause a nationwide discussion on what is being taught in the schools, & maybe alert Red States they’d better be looking at their curriculums & cleaning them up. Not to mention keeping a hawk-like eye on the teachers in the schools.

Even though many young people are illiterate, those anti-American books are bad to have around in schools.

Biennial testing through NAEP consistently shows that two thirds of U.S. children are unable to read with proficiency. An astounding 40 percent are essentially nonreaders.
Scientific American. September 26, 2023. Two Thirds of American Kids Can’t Read Fluently.

Approximately 21% of U.S. adults (43 million people) struggle with basic reading tasks, scoring at or below Level 1 in the PIAAC assessment of literacy skills. For the broad demographic of 16- to 74-year-olds, a 2022 study found that roughly 130 million people (54%) read below a sixth-grade level, with 45 million reading below a fifth-grade level.

“executive order”

An executive order designed to try to control school curriculum is fine, but it does nothing the local people didn’t already know if they had kids in the system. And because of the 10th amendment, the feds have nothing to threaten schools with other than funding and inuendoes of curriculum they want taught.

As for the teachers, they are in most cases members of any of many unions cringing under the National Education Association, the national largest union. It was established in the very early 1900’s to support the schools with representation to congress.

But over the years, it has become a weaponize body to control the school systems all over the US, Alaska and Hawaii even though they are all supposedly separate state run organizations. But they are being blackmailed for funds and have come to depend too much on the little amount sent to them from congress, between 11% and 13% of each school’s budget. So the local schools lick the boots of the liberal party who is pushing for that little amount they get while congress spends a lot more for the performing arts.

BTW

“Bill Ayres”

He’s more than just a leftist. He was one of the two leaders of the weather underground that bombed many places in the US in an attempt to overthrow the federal government.

https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/mccain-campaign-press-release-case-you-missed-it-mccain-palin-campaign-conference-call-3

Obama bought his house in Chicago from him and they attended parties at the same time. Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, hosted a gathering at their home in 1995, where Alice Palmer introduced Obama as her chosen successor in the Illinois State Senate. Obama and Ayers’ service on the board of directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago overlapped for three years from 1999 to 2002.

Were they aware of each other and collaborated, you tell me. But the media has been hiding their relationship for many years.

Oh, I definitely know who Bill Ayres is. One of the unanswered I’d like resolved is WHO brought him in to the DoE? I doubt he saw a position open & applied & just happened to get hired despite his background. I’ll bet he was deliberately brought in.

I’d still like to see, even if it can’t be a mandate, a suggestion of the appropriate curriculum. Hillsdale’s charter school/home school curriculum should be easy to bring into any school. I wonder how many teachers would resign rather than cooperate if city councils started in on something like this.

Oh well...I can dream.

“...WHO brought him in to the DoE?”

The question of who hired him likely stems from political discussions surrounding his association with Barack Obama’s education initiatives and what the NY Times called a false claim by the McCain campaign.

“...a suggestion of the appropriate curriculum.”

That would be the big problem. Curriculum for a specific school system basing it upon local needs and capacity would create thousands of differences. Originally, school was made to teach the basics so a person could learn how to learn. Reading, writing, and arithmetic, period. Job skills were taught after graduating a certain level of teaching. So teachers below levels determined by the capacity of the local board were not teaching life skills or even job skills.

So after about the turn of the century, (1900’s), as colleges were more out of reach, and touch, with the workforce, as trades were far more abundant and reachable, primary education starting delving into more than just basics. But they taught what they had, agriculture in some areas, factory work in others, geology for the local coal mining...I’m sure you see my point. And today they have delved into social skills that they are taking over from the parents and the parents are letting them.

It’s not what they are doing as much as what they are getting away with. And a lot of students went away in the dust with not even an understanding of the basics, let alone an ability to live their lives independently. So they graduate kids that are illiterate, and couldn’t understand basic math at the lowest level. This makes them a perfect example of government controlled widgets that have to vote for them to keep the gravy train coming. Welcome to the democratic party.

Too true. The kids are not getting the basics: reading, writing & arithmetic. And even worse, getting BAD history lessons. Those things must be addressed if this country is to survive. At least, survive as a Republic.

“...survive as a Republic.”

Might even be survive as a country. Most of the world has been “brainwashed” into the liberal thought process. Except for Trump, who was hamstrung in the 2016-2020 time frame with hidden anti-American liars in the federal government, we have been a very soft pliable nation. Everyone after Reagan through Biden has been so accommodating to everyone that we have lost our edge of being the top dog. We threaten no one anymore and little countries that would be compared to “piss ants” stand up and tell us to FO.

And with the continued decline in student capacity we are on the road to failure as a country. You might even find future politicians changing the Constitution to allow parts of the nation to separate and act as a sovereign country. Next step toward third world.
