I’ll bet it went even faster if they voted democrat and married their brother....
They aren’t doing a good job of calling the fake news out on their non-distinction.
I don’t think they should, BUT if they are here legally and worked 40quarters (10 years) they are allowed to claim it.
The fake news are reporting, that if you do not have a Mayflower ancestor, you will be deported.
Help them move out and across the boarder...
MORE ICE PLEASE!!!!
“”“For example, if you are a parent who is an illegal immigrant but you receive section eight through your children for housing, you can be evicted.””
This should get interesting. With that many illegals being evicted and becoming homeless... I’m wondering how many of them will resort to becoming squatters, rather than self-deporting. And....what is to stop the parent who is an illegal immigrant from moving right back in with the kids ‘after’ having been evicted? Who is going to police this and how much extra will it cost taxpayers for the authorities or ICE to continue to monitor it?
“So now it sounds like we are going to go after military members that have a foreign spouse that is here legally!”
Military members are not supposed to have an illegal spouse they got into the US. And it isn’t that easy since this will not be hidden like the illegals the article is talking about.
To get a foreign spouse into the US through a military member, the foreign national must obtain a visa, such as a CR-1 spousal visa for married couples or a K-1 fiancé visa for those not yet married, by filing a petition with USCIS and going through consular processing. The military member must meet specific financial sponsorship requirements, while the foreign national needs to provide a valid passport, a medical exam, and police certificates. Military members also must get approval to marry a foreign national from their chain of command. It is not a long drawn out process, but it keeps accountability.
An interesting story is one of my troops at now gone Mather AFB. He was an E4 that was born in Germany to a military father and civilian mother (German). He was not born on base but in a civilian hospital.
When his grandmother was very ill he was going to go back to Germany to say goodbye to her when a snag came up. Because he was born not on the US reservation, he was not considered a US citizen just like his mom. The US would not stop him from going back to German, but he would not be allowed to return unless on the proper VISA. He had to get a green card, study, and become a US citizen.
So this has nothing to do with the military or illegal people in a household concerning that. Lie.

Charlie Kirk is advocating for even a more extreme measure than yours, i.e., a moratorium on ALL — including legal — immigration for a period of time until the current mess can be sorted out and fixed. It’s been done in the past; it can be done again.
Consider reinstating LEGAL immigration with strict guidelines for assimilation. Must be proficient in English, American History, and the Constitution. Must have full financial support, whether through self or a sponsor.
And leave your f**king foreign flags and perversions of culture back in the fatherland wherever that is. Aspire to become 100% American.
Where did I say ILLEGAL.
Your comment proves my point. We lost the narrative on what immigration means.
It used to be immigrant was understood to be LEGAL. And illegal immigrant was well illegal.
But the fake news has everyone referring to immigrants as one group mixing up the language as to confuse people (as you have just proven).
I’m good with that—as long as we also expel the 60 million illegals here now. We’d go through a period of significant adjustment, but be a much, much stronger and promising country as a result.
Legal immigration is a burden on the middle class. An unnecessary burden.
Charlie Kirk is right. Stop all immigration for a long time.
“as long as we also expel the 60 million illegals here now.”
Absolutely! That GOES WITHOUT SAYING. They must be expelled, deported, etc. Not even imprisoned, because if they’re incarcerated we still end up PAYING FOR THEIR UPKEEP.
would they be eligible for section 8 housing?
Any hope of that IMO would require the president to suspend habeas corpus for all illegals. That is clearly within his powers per the Constitution in time of invasion or rebellion.
Then we need en masse shiploads to disgorge them from the country.
"This would mean that 2,300,000 families are at risk of being evicted if one or more family members do not have citizenship in that household."
There are a great many Americans, who could benefit from “our” tax dollars and who never receive a lick!
There are many mis-appropriators of our money, who need to be hanged, plain and simple!
Agreed. It would be nice if we could get back into the practice of saying what we mean.
“Where did I say ILLEGAL.”
The article did in the second line of it. And that’s what I was referring to.
