Rep. Ro Khanna is optimistic that Congress will approve the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files and says some of the late sex trafficker’s victims are slated to speak out for the first time this week on Capitol Hill.
Mr. Khanna, California Democrat, and Rep. Tom Massie, Kentucky Republican, have teamed up to introduce the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” which would require the Department of Justice to release its files on sex-trafficking investigations of Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Asked if he believes the bill will pass, Mr. Khanna said, “ I’m very confident it will.”
“We have all 212 Democrats committed to signing it. He has 12 Republicans,” he said of Ms. Massie’s efforts. “Only six of them have to sign it.”
“What will be explosive is the September 3rd press conference that both of us are having with ten Epstein victims, many who have never spoken out before,” Mr. Khanna said. “They’re going to be on the steps of the Capitol.”
“They will be telling their story, and they will be saying clearly to the American public that they want the release of the Epstein files for full closure on this matter,” he said.
Epstein and Maxwell were both charged with sex trafficking minors.
Epstein died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial. Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 and is serving a 20-year prison sentence. She has appealed her conviction to the Supreme Court.

They will get a whole bunch of redacted files. Then they can say information about Trump was covered up. The conspiracy will continue. It is all a distraction that fools the slow kids.
Remember when the Demon Rat party tried to make a big deal about getting Trump’s tax records and releasing them? I was in a doctor’s office that day, and the sleazy doc, a leftist all the way, was chuckling about how Trump was finally going to get his come uppance.
Aaaaaand....nothing happened, because Trump complied with the law and the tax return “gotcha” was a massive nothing burger.

The doc was projecting his own tax evasion crimes onto Trump.
Biden had four years to release them.
The role of the Epstein files is to TITTILATE US.
When the need occurs to distract us from some event that is real and serious, that is when the Epstein files will be released. The release will be cynically released to protect the current powers.
If Bill Clinton is in the Epstein files, he will be thrown under the bus to protect some current powerful person. Bill is as relevant as Andy Jackson to the future of a current politician with access to the Epstein files.

In every Presidential election I can remember the candidates were asked to release their tax returns. Politicians like Al Gore, Biden and the rest always had reasonable returns that showed the right amount of income, charitable contributions, etc. SANITIZED. They never included the milions they took through other means.
2024 was the first time they NEVER asked to see returns. Why were they not curious about Kamalas taxes????
They forgot an Obama judge blocked it. And it is very rare for grand jury information to be released . BUT let the democrats keep playing this game. It is all they have.
