It “marks the worst threat to the integrity of our state government since pro-slavery lawmakers voted for Missouri to join the Confederacy in 1861,” Aune said in a statement.
Missouri is represented in the U.S. House by six Republicans and two Democrats — Cleaver and Rep. Wesley Bell in St. Louis.
Cleaver called the proposed redistricting an attack on democracy perpetrated by Trump.
“This attempt to gerrymander Missouri will not simply change district lines, it will silence voices. It will deny representation,” Cleaver said in a statement while vowing not to concede the seat."
.... yet, again!
Another day, another Dem outrage.
Trump Bump!
WINNING!!!
God bless Donald Trump. It’s about time republicans FOUGHT!
RINOs take note.
‘This is what I voted for.’
AMEN to THAT! :)
Every red state should do this. It is time to set things right.
“He released a proposed new map that targets Democratic Rep. Emanuel Cleaver’s Kansas City-area district by stretching it eastward into rural Republican-leaning areas.”
To ensure a win in that district, ICE should come in to target KC to get rid of illegals which would suppress illegal alien voting.
I asked GPT how prevalent illegal voting was and they cited some BS from NPR and some other leftist organization that it was less than .01%. They dismiss the whole idea.
It stands to reason that illegal alien voting is a phenomenon because in addition to inflating blue districts in the census, the illegals are probably doing something for the Dems like mail in ballots and getting paid for it. Especially the criminal illegal that are involved in drug and human trafficking. For an illegal, why mot add another income stream? It also makes sense that Dems would fight so hard for them.
They should name it the Election Rigging Response Act to liberal gerrymandering in Illinois!
that will shove it down Gavin’s throat.
Someone should tell Miss Ashley that those Missouri pro-slavery lawmakers were DEMOCRATS. (It's very possible that she is actually ignorant of this fact . . .)
The Democrat Socialists do not have many options to counter this strategy. They have already gerrymandered most of the blue states into nearly the maximum number of seats that can be reliably counted on for a Democrat Socialist majority vote in each of the Congressional districts.
And yet, and yet, the ratio of Republican registrations continues to rise in relation to the number of Democrat registrations, where this distinction is made in regards to voter registration within a given state.
No need to redraw districts in OK. We have RINOs, but no dem congressmen, senators, or governor.
Red States can do a lot more gerrymandering than any blue state. The questions is if republicans are wimps or not
One of Trump’s best ideas: a Republican Midterm Convention
A Republican midterm convention is a “good idea”, as it involves potential benefits for the party. The concept is unprecedented in modern politics and is being debated within both the Republican and Democratic parties ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
Arguments supporting a midterm convention
Mobilizes voters
Showcases candidates: A national convention could feature midterm candidates from across the country, increasing their visibility and potentially generating enthusiasm among voters.
Boosts turnout: By creating a major media moment, a convention could help energize the Republican base and boost voter turnout in an election year that often sees lower participation. Historically, the party in control of the White House typically loses seats in the first midterm election, so generating enthusiasm is a key challenge.
Unifies messaging: A large-scale event provides a platform to rally the party around its current platform and messaging, ensuring a consistent message from top-of-the-ticket candidates down to local races.
Reinforces Republican party dominance
Celebrates accomplishments: A convention offers an opportunity to highlight the accomplishments of the current Republican administration and Congress, such as economic gains.
Showcases leadership: It could be used to feature potential future party leaders, allowing ambitious politicians to audition for 2028 candidacies.
Infuriates Democrats
>the illegals are probably doing something for the Dems like mail in ballots and getting paid for it. <
Let’s not kid ourselves thinking the illegals are actually voting. Their names and addresses were used for voter registration. The corresponding mail in ballots never got anywhere near the illegal. The DNC machine voted for them.
Cleaning up the voter rolls, even if it means starting over, is the only way to stop it.
EC
If the Democrats think that’s scary, wait until they disallow illegals from the census.
Clean up voting roll addresses. But if you have dem activists and operatives mailing in ballots using fake or illegal alien addresses, couldn’t the racketeers be infiltrated, shut down and prosecuted?
The DNC machine needs people, criminals to do their dirty deeds. In addition to human and drug trafficking, illegals could be the activists involved in mail in ballot schemes. Another reason to import so many illegals under Biden.
As soon as you leave the two big cities, you’re in magaland.
It’s that way in Wisconsin, too. Once you’re out of Dane or Milwaukee Counties, and Brown County up by Green Bay, we’re all NORMALS!
