The gunman who slaughtered two children and injured 18 other people at a Minneapolis Catholic school and church had recently broken up with his romantic partner — and previously had a “medical mental health” call made to his home when he was a teen, according to police records.
The father of Robin Westman, 23, told investigators that the shooter had “broke up with a significant and/or romantic partner” and had been staying with a friend in St. Louis Park, Fox9 reported.
Police were also made aware of a 2018 welfare check at the home of Westman’s mother, with the incident involving a juvenile, according to police records.

I thought it interesting that in the article, “He also wrote about how the partner wanted to have sexual relations with him, but that he himself hated sex”.
I wonder what that means, from a psychiatric standpoint in this case. It must indicate something.
Or actually, and maybe it isn’t, but maybe he hated sex with a male, even though he was trying to force upon himself to be a ‘girl’.

Not a trans but I remember one train engineer impulsively decided to crash the passenger commuter train and kill everyone with himself in his despair. Somewhere in the Eastern US a few years ago.
Many of the anti psychotic meds will block the patients natural production of dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, and is released when we experience pleasurable activities, such as eating, sex , happiness or motivation. Any activity that will provide a reward, a boost to the mood when you are done. So, for some of these folks everything is a flat plane of neutral grey. No particular highs or lows.
