Deranged Minneapolis gunman Robin Westman blamed his mother for his decision to kill “so many people” at a Catholic school after she warned him that he would regret transitioning to female — while in the next line discouraging people from letting their kids transition.

In his disturbed manifesto, Westman, 23, claimed to be anxious about a visit from his mother in an entry dated July 1, where he recalled her concerns about him transitioning.

“Your words, mother, made me stay in my discomfort unable to ask for help to avoid admitting defeat. You were right mama, but the way you handled it led me to wanting to kill so so many people,” he wrote.

In the rambling writings, the crazed gunman also appeared to blame transitioning and smoking marijuana for his violence.

Frankly, the headline and the body of the article seem incongruent. My understanding is that the mother encouraged him to pretend to be a girl and when he wanted to return to being normal (a boy) his mother discouraged him.

Any insight and clarification would be appreciated.

Unpacking this, his Mum didn't want him to do the initial he-to-she transition and it made him angry, but he still hated it after he did it, and then because he was angry he killed the children. It doesn't have to make sense to sane people.

I think the urinalist used inverse transition spin on this .

He wanted to ask to DEtransition, but it would be admitting defeat. And his mom objected to his DEtransitioning and kept him in his misery

That’s how it reads to me.

This isn’t an exoneration of his mom , it’s the exact opposite.

And the media are masters of inverse translations.

I think he is saying, “see what you made me do?” This is what abusive people say. Whatever they do is not from their agency. It’s because someone else “made” them do it. Classic abusive behavior.
