As we all know, the Royal Navy is but a shadow of its former self. But they do have eight modern coastal patrol boats. They’d be ideal for the job, if there was only the will to use them.

For instance, the British mini-series Hostage had the French attempting to make a deal with the UK to put French solders on UK soil to enforce illegal immigration.
