Says they piloted a program with the feds to combat human trafficking and fentanyl distribution, but won't work with them on abortion and immigration.
As if abortion and illegal immigration aren't directly related to human trafficking and fentanyl distribution.

I’m sure some other company will be happy to work with the Feds. Or maybe some of their sharper employees will spin off to do the work?

“This sharing of license plate data of motorists who drive on Illinois roads is a clear violation of the state law,” Giannoulias said in a statement. Hope they aren't using Federal Dollars for those roads, then.

Prosecute them under 18 USC § 4.
To: jacknhoo

So, it’s okay to spy on American citizens, but not keep track of illegal aliens?

I call obstruction of justice on this one. Although I hate the idea of all those cameras, they're doing a job that needs a whole lot of doing...like never before.

The ATL suburb I used to live in had Flock cameras on all the major roads in/out at least 6-8 years ago. They nailed a bunch of stolen cars and some pretty serious violent felons with outstanding warrants because of the system.

Al tracking tech needs to go away. We are not a free country. It is nobody’s business where I drive to and from or where I purchase items. One movie comes to mind “Minority Report” where they track everyone based on eye scanner as numerous as trees.

No reason Flock cameras should be given permits to operate on Federally owned roadways/highways then.

Atlanta-based license plate camera company halts cooperation with federal agencies These stupid @$$holes. What did they think was going to happen if they started producing "big brother" spy cameras?
They've let the genie out of the bottle. They won't be able to stuff it back in.
