What about Intel? Do they too only exist because of the Government?

Lockheed Martin

Ownership;

State Street Corporation 15.33%
The Vanguard Group 9.15%
BlackRock Inc. 7.51%
Charles Schwab Corporation 2.33%
Morgan Stanley 2.15%
Capital World Investors 2.08%
Geode Capital Management, LLC 1.89%
FMR, LLC 1.80%
Bank of America 1.33%
Wellington Management Company 1.16%

Anyone seeing a pattern here yet?

BlackRock Vanguard, and State Street together own all of these companies Trump wants to invest our tax dollars into. And all of the Big Tech corporations he is contracting with. This is corporate theft at it’s best right here.

I would imagine for yes contracting purposes but never an ownership stake in the company.

Most military equipment is obsolete in the era of drones. I don’t consider makers of military equipment to be investment grade.

The federal government might buy, own and lease machine tools needed to produce military equipment.

Tariffs should be placed on things made on machines that can produce expensive or 21st Century-only weapons. We need such machines in the US and not China or Vietnam.

Hey Hebrew howie…how about seizing ALL the Chinese farmland and making the scumbags that sold it to them pay the Chinese slightly less than fair market value for it?

Nationalization of US industry will continue until full ownership is reached.

A Plan For Establishing A United States Sovereign Wealth Fund
The White House
February 3, 2025

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to promote the long-term financial health and international leadership of the United States, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Policy and Purpose. It is the policy of the United States to maximize the stewardship of our national wealth for the sole benefit of American citizens. To this end, it is in the interest of the American people that the Federal Government establish a sovereign wealth fund to promote fiscal sustainability, lessen the burden of taxes on American families and small businesses, establish economic security for future generations, and promote United States economic and strategic leadership internationally.

Sec. 2. Sovereign Wealth Fund. The Secretary of the Treasury and the Secretary of Commerce, in close coordination with the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, shall develop a plan for the establishment of a sovereign wealth fund consistent with section 1 of this order. The Secretary of the Treasury and the Secretary of Commerce shall jointly submit this plan to the President within 90 days of the date of this order. Such plan shall include recommendations for funding mechanisms, investment strategies, fund structure, and a governance model. The plan shall also include an evaluation of the legal considerations for establishing and managing such a fund, including any need for legislation.

Sec. 3. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or
(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

Tinfoil hat theory:

All of “String Theory” in modern day physics has been a 50 year long fools errand encouraged by and funded by the government. Eric Weinstein has explicitly suggested this.

These companies have, for more than 50 years, possessed a breakaway technology.

Possibilities:

1.). The technology is about to go mainstream (maybe only partially) and the government want direct governance of the corporations.

2.). Artificial Intelligence, by its very existence, will reveal the technology in the near future.

3.). Blame the aliens /sarc. Or actually.

Bad idea. I am opposed to the government taking even the slightest equity in private companies unless it is a bailout to secure a government loan. We don’t want democrat administrations politicizing such companies when they are in power. Solyndras happen when they get their hands into the private sector.

Wait until dems/RevComs retake power and start “investing” in our private companies.

They already effectively have control over many of them through private equity, ESG, and pressure from their array of phony NGOs. But I agree that this is a very bad idea.

Define Airbus then…still partially owned by European governments.

A multinational aerospace, defense, space, and helicopter publicly traded company which is partially owned by France, Germany, and Spain. (I have been religiously reading Aviation Week since the early 1970s)

Of course, none of that relieves Trump from being criticized for engaging in fascist corporatism.

“Do realize bankrupt nations ALWAYS nationalize everything, from Pension funds to Savings accounts to 401K’s. “

Thanks. You have finally recognized Russian corruption!

State corporations are established by the Russian government to boost industrial sectors.[3] Rosstat figures show that 529,300 enterprises are partly or wholly owned by the state, of which between 30,000 and 31,000 are commercial companies (generating revenue).[4] The 54 largest enterprises account for over two-thirds of the total revenues generated by state-owned organizations.[4] SOEs account for 40% of the capitalization on the Russian stock market, one of the highest shares in the world.[4]
