During Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) stated that scientists are saying that “if we don’t get our act together within the next eight or nine years,” major cities will go underwater because of climate change.
Sanders said, “We don’t have decades. What the scientists are telling us, if we don’t get our act together within the next eight or nine years, we’re talking about cities all over the world, major cities going underwater. We’re talking about increased drought. We’re talking about increased extreme weather disturbances. The United Nations is telling us that in the years to come, there are going to be hundreds of millions of climate refugees causing national security issues all over the world.”

But six years ago, Bernie and his fellow Travellers were saying that scientists were agreed that we only had ten years left before ‘climate change’ killed us all.
Once again they move the goalposts.
And if the politicians don’t get us all nuked sooner, I bet in a hundred years they will be saying the same things Bernie said here.

Such a bunch of crap. Oceans have already risen 200 feet since the last Ice Age. Everything has been very stable in the past hundred years or so. What evidence is there of this nonsense? Don’t these people understand that the world has been warming for 20,000 years and that humans had nothing to do with it? Of course they don’t realize it because it is science. And the left doesn’t understand or recognize science.

It is actually more sinister than that. The Climate BS is the key to everything for the rats. Power, control and unlimited funding. A recent example was twisting environment law to get the Florida jail closed.
Can we pick the cities that disappear in the great deluge? Perhaps we could vote on it. Probably not, the way the metropolitan areas cheat now, there’s no chance for a fair process.

Let me guess what “getting our act together” means:
-Steal or forfeit private property and wealth.
-Increase punitive regulations and apply unequally.
-Create disincentives for productivity.
-Destroy what works.
-Fail to create any measures of the effectiveness, or accountability for, the above actions.

When Soviet communism was collapsing, Gorbachev, the last Soviet leader, remarked that an avid embrace of radical enviormentalism would be at the core of people subjecting themslves to authoritarian socialism. People had to first believe that man made climate change was an existential threat to their existence before they would again tolerate socialism’s deprivation of liberty, freedom and material happiness.
Saunders is, has always been, and will remain for the rest of his life a Soviet style communist.
