Vance reveals what Putin has conceded in Ukraine peace deal negotiations with Trump

Vice President JD Vance said Russian strongman Vladimir Putin has made several concessions in his discussions with President Trump over the war in Ukraine — including vowing to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine after the fighting ends.

“They’ve recognized that they’re not going to be able to install a puppet regime in Kyiv, and importantly, they’ve acknowledged that there is going to be some security guarantee to the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” Vance told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

On the possibility of Ukraine having to give land to a country that forcibly seized it, Vance didn’t appear to agree that doing so may send a message to other rival countries like China about taking Taiwan, or would reward Russia for its invasion.

“This is how wars ultimately get settled. If you go back to World War II, if you go back to World War I, if you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all end with some kind of negotiation,” the VP said, noting it will be Ukraine that will ultimately decide which land it may give up.

Germany and Japan surrendered unconditionally to end the Second World War, and land settlement decisions happened afterwards.

However, also on Sunday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov — in an earlier “Meet the Press” interview — also appeared to put more conditions on any direct talks between Putin and Zelensky, and said Putin believes the Ukrainian president is “illegitimate” as leader of the nation.

Gaslight Media stooge-propagandist Diana Nerozzi should suit up and grab a gun if she wants to bandy about the double quotes on The Putin’s legitimate concerns about Little Zelya’s “legitimacy”.

On the possibility of Ukraine having to give land to a country that forcibly seized it,

/////////////////////////////////////////////////

Wait. What? That is presented as if it is outrageous.

Don’t all territory losses in war conform to exactly that phrasing? Sometimes it is even more. First Sino-Japanese war in the 1890s . . . Japan crushed China. Reparations/money/territory required of China in the treaty ending the war. Korea. The Port Arthur peninsula all went to Japan from China. Japan also got another item of territory it had not occupied.

The island of Formosa, now Taiwan.

Why is this phrased as something outrageous? It is entirely normal. The US seized most of its territory from native Indians by force. There is the occasional anger about that, but only occasional and never with any response.

Putin made a “peace deal” with Prighozin TWO YEARS AGO. How did that work out? Putin murdered Prigozhin and along with ab airplane load of Russians TWO MONTHS LATER.

It is laughably dishonest to claim Putin is going to abide by any “peace deal” with a leader and nation he believes illigimate. Genocidally erasing Ukraine is a Holy War for Russian Supramacists of Putin’s ilk. They will take exacctly as much is given and then try for more. Guaranteed.

"Germany and Japan surrendered unconditionally to end the Second World War, and land settlement decisions happened afterwards."

Apples and Oranges. Putin and Z are fighting over a long disputed territory in their region. The Facists in Europe were looking to conquer Europe as the old Germanic tribes attempted. Imperial Japan wanted all of Asia as the Emperor believed he had a godly destiny. Am I wrong?

My biggest problem is when we kick ass, we give the spoils of war back to the enemy. And then we spend out tax dollars rebuilding their countries.

Just think if the Allies had kept Western Germany as a territory how much it would have added to the prosperity to the USA and Europe. Or if the USA had made Japan a territory as we did Guam, what that would have done for America. Even if we had won Viet Nam over the crybaby Cronkite and the Hippies, we would have had all their resources, which have amounted to much in recent years.

We would have been the most powerful influence in the entire world. Although the Soviets would have control of Eastern Germany, with all our nations and satellites we would have been the only true super power for years and years. End rant.

The putative political future President doesn’t have much to say does he?

If he gets nominated instead of Vivek (I’m still rooting for Vivek) he’s vulnerable to Newsome and if he gets by Newsome to the Presidency, I’ll be surprised if he lasts more than four years. Why?

Because he seems like a visionless politician like GHW Bush after Reagan. The only successful Republican Presidents who weren’t RINO’s in the last 75 years were visionary Patriot Reagan and visionary Patriot Trump.

Otherwise, the Left and the Dems eats them for lunch.

The context is that Israel kept the territory it gained in the war.

Sheesh.

That is the ultimately straw man argument that contradicts our position on Kosovo.

The people in the annexed area overwhelming voted for a President removed from office in an illegal and no longer wanted to remain part of Ukraine.

In fact, most of the fighting on the ground in the first year of the war was done by former Ukrainian citizens that were part of the LPR and DPR.

The people in the annexed area don't want to go back to being part of Ukraine.
