March 14 (Reuters) - An online voting system that was criticised by some defeated candidates at parliamentary elections last year will be rolled out for use across Russia after President Vladimir Putin signed electronic voting procedures into law on Monday. A coalition of defeated parliamentary candidates in Moscow claimed they were cheated of victory in a parliamentary election last September by the system and sought to try to overturn the results via lawsuits and public pressure.

No wonder Putin easily wins his own rigged elections!
Its sounds like Putin wants to rig his elections.
You sly fox, Vlad!
So he really knew what he was talking about when he warned Trump about mail-in ballots!
It is not how they vote, but who counts the votes.
Once hackers get in this means Putin will finally lose.
Last election he won with 87.28% of the vote.
Next the tech nerds will see that he somehow loses.
There were two precincts in Detroit where Trump got no votes. Not “not very many”, not “a few”, but zero. Thanks to high tech vote counting. Others had Dems win with more votes than the total number of people living there.
I’m sure they have been for some time.
Oh, and this article is from March 14, 2022 11:10 AM CDT, just FYI.
30 years “elected.”
It’s more a joke than our fraud riddled system.
He’s going to win the next election with 128% of the vote.
Vlad believes in the Democratic way. The DNC is in bed with the Russians.
Told ya.
Vladimir Putin signed laws allowing Russian citizens to vote online. He signed a law in May 2020 permitting elections and referendums to be conducted via the Internet, authorizing the Central Election Commission to organize online voting.
This system was initially used in select regions and for specific elections, such as the 2020 constitutional referendum and the 2021 legislative elections in seven regions.
In March 2022, Putin signed another law formalizing electronic voting procedures for use across Russia, expanding its availability beyond experimental status.
This paved the way for broader implementation, including in the 2024 presidential election, which marked the first time online voting was used nationwide in a presidential contest.
During the 2024 election, held from March 15 to 17, over 4.5 million people registered to vote online in 29 regions.
Putin himself cast his vote online, avoiding a public polling station visit.
However, the system has faced criticism over potential fraud, technical failures, and reports of public sector employees being pressured to vote electronically.
Putin is a garden variety sociopath, so, ya, lying is second nature.
I like the in-person finger dipped in indigo method.
And he will always win those votes.
We don’t need no steekin ballots
Your next governor, “Dirty Josey” Benson...

Agent Nesty FTW!
Is that nice? I feel bad enough about it already. ☹️
“Agent Nesty FTW!”
I do find it interesting that the people here are the STRONGEST SUPPORTERS of Ukraine are also the STRONGEST SUPPORTERS of rigging our voting system.
Putin wins because the citizen’s “ballot” is brought to your apartment door with a Russian gun toting soldier!
