Liberal media bias and hypocrisy are on full display in Virginia.
Winsome Earle-Sears, the current lieutenant governor of Virginia, is the Republican nominee for governor. It’s impossible to find a starker compare-and-contrast between the media and cultural “elites”’ treatment of Earle-Sears and Stacey Abrams, who shares key similarities with Earle-Sears.
Both are black women from battleground states (Abrams from Georgia), who earned their respective party’s nomination for governor in America’s South. The difference: Abrams is a Democrat, and thus worthy of expansive, fawning media coverage—though Abrams checks fewer of the Left’s prized identity boxes than Earle-Sears, a Jamaican immigrant. The Left claims to lionize and promote black women and immigrants—but only when they fall in line with leftist ideology.
Abrams was feted on the cover of Time magazine for its issue on “The American South” with the headline of “The Unlikely Rise of Stacey Abrams.” This came in July 2018, while Abrams ran for governor—the first time. She lost twice, blowing millions of dollars in the process. To this day, Abrams still doesn’t concede her first loss to Gov. Brian Kemp in 2018, before losing to him again in a 2022 rematch by an even wider margin.

The Left-Liberal media does not exist to express quality non-partisan “journalism”; it’s mission and purpose is to give its megaphone to Leftist/Liberal causes; that is what academia trained it for.

These people often call themselves “liberals” they are NOT! They are the most illiberal people ever… totally intolerant totalitarians of any questioning, much less opposition to their wannbe tyranny. No thanks, no more!!! The Marxist based political ideology of (misnamed) “Progressivism” has reached its expiration date. A lotta folks (me included) are done with preachy self-righteous Godless wannabe tyrant “Karens” telling the rest of us EVERYTHING we do is WRONG! What we eat, what we drive, how we live, what we think, what we believe.
We are tired of being threatened by “mostly peaceful” violent, “protestors” (aka: terrorists) blocking access to roads and bridges, looting and vandalism of our cities and neighborhoods for “social justice” (an oxymoron if there ever was one), wide open borders, demanding anyone who dare oppose them be “cancelled”… and general chaos perpetrated by Leftist hyper-nannies (aka: WokeLeftazis) who demand surrender of our freedom and prosperity to accommodate their socialist totalitarian Marxist, fascist fantasies.
They’re not going to promote a conservative; black, brown, yellow, red, or white.
