President Trump ruled out sending US military forces to Ukraine as part of any US security guarantees to the war-torn nation, but suggested he would provide some form of air protection.
Trump insisted that the American public has “my assurance” when pressed in an interview on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning that there “won’t be American boots on the ground defending that border” in Ukraine.
“Well, you have my assurance,” the president replied. “I’m president and I’m just trying to stop people from being killed.”
Trump asserted that the US would support the Europeans in providing Ukraine with security, hinting that much of that support would be from air power.
“We’re willing to help them with things, especially, probably, if you could talk about by air, because there’s nobody has the kind of stuff we have,” he said.

Air protection is still boots on the ground Trump.
The Media continues its game.
Why can’t they just run unmanned recon craft? Just mark the zone...tell both parties to keep out military assets. If you find something in the zone...launch a missile and remove the asset from use. After a month...stupidity will stop.

The Ukrainians will probably be getting Patriots, F-16s and air-to-air missiles to protect their airspace.
No US military personnel should be in Ukraine, its airspace or on its territorial waters.
I say again, Trump has “in effect” walked away.
No more money.
No further sanctions.
No boots on the ground.
Trump and Putin have come to some kind of framework and Trump has presented to Zelensky and the Euroweenies.
Trump is just biding time to see they understand that this is the best deal they are going to get.
It also opens up into WWIII entanglement.
Trump is too desperate for his Nobel Prize IMO. All we need to do is stop the funding and exit.
Trump is offering Ukraine NATO without calling it NATO: a group of signatories including the US with an Article 5 like clause.
We're mainly down to the haggling now.

Russia has already nixed the idea, stating they would view ANY European or American assets in Ukraine as targets.

Could mean anything. In fact it is probably already happening via satellite info.
The ONLY borders Trump should be concerned with are the southern and northern borders of the US, not any of a foreign nation. Let them handle their own borders, it is not our job.
And, Trump is doing a great job with the southern border, now effectively closed after being wide open during Biden's regime.

Given the weakness of Russian AD as shown in Syria and Iran, Putin would be exceptionally foolish to attack any Western forces in Ukraine after peace is established.
The Ukrainians will not accept becoming a Russian protectorate.

The Western media continues its game, but their narrative is getting very weak. Many of us didn’t buy into senile Joe’s Ghost of Kiev, washing machine chips, fighting with shovels, Putin has cancer, Russian economy collapsing….
