WASHINGTON — Former Attorney General Bill Barr shared “new” details about the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — and his death in federal custody while awaiting trial — during a deposition before the House Oversight Committee on Monday, according to the panel’s chairman.

A source familiar with the deposition told The Post that Barr testified he wasn’t aware of any missing footage from cameras at the Manhattan detention center where Epstein was found dead — despite critics pointing to nearly three minutes being cut in a video released by the DOJ last month.
Barr also affirmed an FBI-DOJ assessment provided in a July 6 memo of the absence of any so-called “client list” that Epstein allegedly kept of rich and powerful associates implicated in his sickening crimes, Comer said.
The former AG also denied having ever discussed the client list with Trump and suggested that if the 45th president had been involved in Epstein’s trafficking network, former President Joe Biden’s Justice Department would’ve leaked any association.

Asked about their newfound focus on Epstein after nearly five years of silence, the Dems noted that Trump had campaigned on the issue of releasing information on the deceased sex criminal to the public.
“Listen, this is a promise, I will tell you, that was not made by Kamala Harris. It’s not a promise that was made by Joe Biden. This was a promise that was made by Donald Trump,” Crockett said.

So why do you think Bondi, Patel and Bongino acted like they had guns to their heads when they suddenly changed their stories and said Epstein killed himself, and Bongino even said he might quit?
If Epstine had a list of powerful and wealthy people he had the goods on… if he could have destroyed them just like that… why didn't he use it to get himself out instead of sitting in a shitty New York City jail cell knowing full well he would be convicted in court? Was he just stupid? Or do you think maybe there was no list.
I don’t see Epstein keeping an official list. He just let MOSSAD know when he recruited a new client.
The reason Trump decided not to release anything was because Deep State had 15 years to purge evidence incriminating themselves and sprinkle in fake evidence incriminating their political enemies.

A little self-insurance. “If I had known what the Obama DOJ was up to, I would have told Pres. Trump. I’m much more honorable than those guys. And I had no reason to believe Obama’s DOJ wasn’t honorable, too.”
It was obvious they were lying when they claimed Epstein killed himself.
I’m guessing you didn’t read the documents that were released. It said Epstein was working for the FBI. I didn’t see it was Israel in there.
Everybody is assuming that Epstein was the business manager of what went on in his ‘locations’.
He was just an employee; his job was to schmooze the ‘clients’ and get them into compromising situations that could be recorded and catalogued by whoever was really running this operation.
And you know all of this how?…. Were you a client? Or were you running the operation? Or are you just a frustrated novelist with a vivid imagination?
The sole role of the Epstein story is to distract us from the important events and titillate us with what is now irrevelvant. And that is true regardless of who is in the tapes.
