President Donald Trump said Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could end the war with Russia "almost immediately" if he wanted.
Trump's comments come ahead of his scheduled meeting with Zelenskyy and several European leaders in Washington, D.C. on Monday.
"President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE. Some things never change!!!"

Agree, Ukrainians who are still around in what’s left of that country will be asking the tough question, like: “Why did you ever get in bed with the Neocons, given that they screw up nearly everything?” Best for that bunch to hit the road as fast as possible.

He forgot to capitalize “great“ and “honor“. LOL
I’m glum about it perhaps, but it seems the globalists have already chosen their response from statements made:
- Z says ‘impossible’ to give territory (based on a document he violates daily)
- Pence communicates the orders of his masters and demands sanctions on Russia in advance of talks
- The scummy Dems (H, Schumer) having played their Lucy and football ‘offer’ to nominate Trump, of course find any deal he arranges terrible and unworthy
The Z team will come to the table arrogant and strident again, demand everything and probably launch another attack just be sure there’s no deal. There’s too much at stake which fails for them if peace happens, and they can’t afford to let Trump have this win.
The spin will be infuriating but here’s the thing. Neither Putin nor Trump are idiots. They know this. There is, of course, a contingency. I have no idea what it is and if I were to have an idea the last thing I’d do is blather it on a public forum, but they certainly discussed “and if or when the offer is rejected, then ...”
He didn't have the balls to fill them, but Michael did.
And yet, the media and ukraine bros still try to gaslight and fool Trump and his supporters that the grifter zelensky has already gotten consessions from Trump and has gotten world support and a done deal to get russian occupied and controlled territory back, and nato/u.s. boots on the ground....
Otherwise, zelensky will continue the war and will soon defeat the russian military, and possibly even take out putin somehow.
Well whaddya know, the kings of the north (Putin) and south (Zelensky) telling lies at one table, just at different times (Trump’s table that is).
In that vision (Daniel) the king of the north prevails but comes to an untimely and unmourned end with nothing to show for his efforts. The fate of the king of the south is not as explicitly revealed, perhaps he is removed first.
He has a gigantic slush fund . I am sure he has been taking money out of Ukraine to fund himself and his cronies.
I am sick of it. Withdraw support and let Europe deal with it
I see that Stubb and Merz are in that group. If Rutte (who Trump seems to get along with well) can’t successfully keep them calm, the blowup between especially Merz and Trump could make Trump’s meeting with Zelenskyy in February look like model cooperation by comparison...
Pushing Europe and Germany especially to high defense spending still seems unwise to me. In the short run, financially for the US, and defense-wise for the Euros, it makes sense. But, sustained over the long haul, it is incredibly dangerous. Europe is still “Europe”, with its thousands of years of very unpleasant history. Worse, that’s before I even add / consider the influx of Muslims into Europe. :-(
As much as I’d like to see peace, I don’t believe an immediate end is likely.

Pitin could end the war he started at any time and withdraw to internationally recognized borders, fixed.
Difference is pitin knows that if he were to do that he is toast.
