EXCLUSIVE: First Lady Melania Trump wrote a "peace letter" to Russian President Vladimir Putin telling him "it is time" to protect children and future generations around the globe, Fox News Digital has learned.
Fox News Digital exclusively obtained the "peace letter" the first lady penned to Putin, which President Trump hand-delivered to the Russian leader before their summit in Alaska, Fox News Digital has learned.
Immediately upon receiving the letter, Putin read it as the American and Russian delegations looked on.
"Dear President Putin," the first lady’s letter begins. "Every child shares the same quiet dreams in their heart, whether born randomly into a nation’s rustic countryside or a magnificent city-center. They dream of love, possibility, and safety from danger."

I hate to quote the Left but with all the kowtowing Trump did yesterday, what did he get in return ? Zip. Not a single thing. Just some words. I checked the news to see if there were an Russian attacks on Ukraine last night after the summit ended and sure enough there was, with multiple people killed. When is Trump going to stop appeasing this murderous thug ??

Oh finally. A local expert. Please help me out here. If Trump puts sanctions for buying Russian oil who will be impacted? Europe, India, China and Russia mostly. That suggest to me that all of these people are still buying their oil. Why do they need Trump to tell them to stop? Europe can stop immediately, they can also refuse to trade with India and China all by themselves. Of course this will hurt their economy and their relationship with those countries but isn’t it important enough? What tariffs has Europe placed on India, China and Brazil? It seems that they want Trump to make the moves but they just want all the benefits. Actually, they have been threatening Trump with closer ties with India and China in response to Trumps tariff posture. Please explain this all to little ole me

Melania makes no mention of "kidnapped kids" in her letter to Putin. That was misinformation.
Can’t know anything about what is reported, but I am pretty sure I saw a report out of the meetings in Turkey in which the Russians asked for the names of these children that were supposedly in Russia.
The numbers claimed were something like 20,000. Ukraine provided 360 names. Russia found 180 of them in Germany and Romania.
All claims and propaganda to and fro, but it does seem reasonable for the MSM to ask for a list names.

She might want to give Zelensky a letter tomorrow and plan a visit to the Angel memorial in Donetsk dedicated to all the children killed since 2014, many to Ukrainian shelling of towns and villages…no invasion then. Just brutalization of Ukrainians by Ukrainians

I think she genuinely believes that Russia has been kidnapping children. There was a story on her view of it several months ago. While the contents of that letter may not have been public, the issue was a public concern of hers for a while.
As an aside Ukraine has been a well known hub for child sex trafficking for years probably best to keep children away until a government that actually cares about the citizens gets in.
