Sir Keir Starmer will speak to western allies on Sunday ahead of Volodymyr Zelensky’s White House meeting with Donald Trump.

The Prime Minister, France’s Emmanuel Macron and Germany’s Friedrich Merz will host the meeting of the coalition of the willing on Sunday afternoon.

The coalition, made up of 30-plus nations, is prepared to deter Russian aggression by putting troops on the ground in Ukraine once the war is over.

The meeting, which is expected to take place at approximately 2pm UK time, comes on the heels of US President Mr Trump’s summit in Alaska with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Willing to what?

They weren’t too willing to pony up money.

U.S. - $350 billion
Coalition of the willing - $100 billion

Maybe they should focus on their own Muslim invasion problem.

The central goal is to prevent a Trump negotiated end to this and keep grift running

Accuracy matters.
So I suggest they call themselves “The Coalition of the Pretending”.

Sanctimonious AH’s never look in the mirror. I wonder how many of them are getting paid off by the Muzzies to ignore the takeover.

We are nearing the end of the ability to “keep the grift going” as Ukraine runs out of men and the front is slowly collapsing. Remember it collapses slowly first then all at once. Better to trade what the Russians will take to stop it and move on. We are bette3r off friends with Putin’s Russia and cooperate with international trade than imposing sanctions that hurt us too. Better we fight Muslims than Russia. Heck, Russia will help us.

Starmer and Macron engaging in Politics 101.

When you can’t spin anything good on the home front, beat the war drums.

It’s effective if you can find a country run by an autopen to write the checks that pay for the stupid war.

Too bad for them that ship has sailed.

I think Trump talked to many European nations last night, he was on the phone all night long(This man never sleeps) so who knows maybe Trump talked to Starmer and they are both on the same page.

The EU is throwing a wrench in…saying they are “prepared to deter Russian aggression by putting troops on the ground in Ukraine once the war is over”
Putin has made it clear that the EU can’t put their piddling army near the Russia border. That’s not going to be accepted.
If it weren’t for the EU, grifter Zelensky, globalist money and US democrats, this war would end right here and now.
Putin isn’t stupid.

Exactly..Trump was on the phone all last night talking to Zelenskyy and others..I just think that when they do come on Monday, have the meeting IN PRIVATE..talk everything out IN PRIVATE, no more in front of the cameras it never ends well..only AFTER the meeting, if everything works out then have a press conference with Zelenskyy, etc

Starmer and his “coalition of the willing” doing their best to undermine any agreement to end the war in Ukraine.

Good idea! Keep the MSM out of it so they can’t create another anti-Trump circus based on zero information.

--- "...is prepared to deter Russian aggression by putting troops on the ground in Ukraine once the war is over...."

Announcing meetings is a way of keeping names in front of the cameras and in the headlines. Remember Macron being ready to send troops into battle? Neither does he. Because it was rhetoric.

"French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday that sending Western troops on the ground in Ukraine is not 'ruled out' in the future after the issue was debated at a gathering of European leaders in Paris, as Russia's full-scale invasion grinds into a third year.

The French leader said that 'we will do everything needed so Russia cannot win the war' after the meeting of over 20 European heads of state and government and other Western officials.

'There's no consensus today to send in an official, endorsed manner troops on the ground. But in terms of dynamics, nothing can be ruled out,' Macron said in a news conference at the Elysee presidential palace."

Putting Western troops on the ground in Ukraine is not ‘ruled out’ in the future, French leader says AP, February 26, 2024<.u>

And Starmer? A year after the above ---
" 'Europe must play its role, and I'm prepared to consider committing British forces on the ground alongside others if there is a lasting peace agreement.

'But there must be a US backstop, because a US security guarantee is the only way to effectively deter Russia from attacking Ukraine again”, he told reporters after the meeting in Paris.

But several other EU nations declined to follow Britain's lead, with Poland ruling out such a move."

Europe split over Starmer pledge to send troops to Ukraine Independent, UK, February 18, 2025

Throughout, the posturing has been "you first" to the US and Europe will FOLLOW.

Six months later and just after the Alaska meeting what's changed? From the EU? Not a darn thing. They are "willing" --- TO FOLLOW.

As Donald Tusk spilled the beans....

500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to defend them against 140 million Russians. [...] Europe today lacks the belief that we are truly a global force.”

Polish PM Donald Tusk, speaking before his flight to London for the European Ukraine summit: X, 2 March 2025.

And are announcing this AGAIN in the headlines.
