So?
That is a Light shake for us, Hawaii, big island.
I build a house for my daughter and her husband.
I probably spent as much on earthquake proofing
as I did on 2X4’s.
2X4’s aren’t cheap in Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it would be in California where I grew up, or at least just moderate. Magnitude, however, is just one measurement of an earthquake's seriousness. The composition of the soil, whether it is harder or looser, or if, for example, you live near rocky mountains that could trigger an avalanche. Also, if you live in a place where building codes and construction don't take earthquakes in consideration because in that place they're infrequent, it could cause a lot more damage in areas where it is more common and people (like you) are more prepared.

That should be "it could cause a lot more damage than in areas where it is more common."

Did you, or the many women in your life, feel this?

I experienced a 6.2 and a 7 within 28 hours of each other back in 2016 here in Kumamoto , Japan . We’d moved into our new house 2 weeks earlier . 277 people were killed .

lol. Yeah frequency and intensity of EARTHQUAKES is on the rise. Anyone who does not see the Eschatological significance is either blind or just choosing to ignore evidence.

That was the point in posting.

You are falling for the same scam as the “climate change” crowd.

We have no reliable data from ten thousand years ago, much less a million years ago.

Without reliable data over the long term claims of trends are totally unreliable.

The earth is spinning faster as the New World Order moves people from close to the equator to more northernly areas. It’s also tilting more making winters colder and summers hotter.
