Everybody’s got a little judge to try to impede good things Trump does.

Each time it erodes the naive faith in the justice system that some people have. (Not me.)

According to Jeff Childers, this takeover is a legal slam dunk for Trump. It’s written into the home rule laws.

Of course corrupt judges make up their own laws.

From what I have seen, the average DC residents are pretty happy so far.

It’s written into the home rule laws.

Even worse, it's a federal district per the constitution and per the constitution the Congress writes laws for execution. Unfortunately, under our unitary executive arrangement, Trump has the executive power to ensure that the laws are being properly executed, whatever the arrangement for providing subordinate officers [mayor and DC legislature].

Next thing you know, this “attorney general” will demand that all of the ICE, DEA, and even the National Guard deployed in DC be placed under the command and control of Ocrazio-Cortex and Bernard Sanders.

This lawsuit would be a good time to shut the entire U.S. Government down for a year or so. Show the African mayor the reason the District of Corruption exists. The stupid ass is suing herself. What a maroon. Trump needs to take the suit’s winnings from the DC budget. Muriel and her DC losers will need to start a Go Fund Me Page or better yet, turn DC into a giant Pancake House and Beyonce Cowboy Museum.

Trump should concede and give the D.C. officials what they want. If they’re happy with the crime rate and feel that is what D.C. deserves why should Trump try to save that cesspool?

On May 26, 2004, Mayor Anthony A. Williams signed an executive order that changed the name of the office to Attorney General without making any substantive changes to its responsibilities or functions.

This guy is essentially the city’s corporation council whose duties are generally to advise the city council. They made it an elected postion in 2015 which makes no sense. It just creates another power base.

I’m pretty sure you can sue anybody for anything and get a lawyer to take your case. If there is money in it for him.

The question as I see it is, what is the DC government? Is it an agency? Then Trump has vast powers to fire the employees. Is it an alter ego of the U.S. Congress? Then, Trump’s powers may not be so sweeping.

Is it an alter ego of the U.S. Congress?

No. Per the constitution,

To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards and other needful Buildings;-And

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

So, according to the US Constitution, for whatever it is worth, Congress passes the laws which are then executed by the US government, or deparment thereof. So under this, the Home Rule act creates the Government of the District of Columbia to execute the Home Rule laws. But, all executive power is vested in the President, and so per the constitution the DC Government reports to the President.

DC can’t control its own crime but don’t want anyone else to control it either. Just let the residents suffer through. What a hypocritical bunch of nonsense.

RICO

Some people wonder why Trump doesn’t just arrest all the coup plotters (starting at the top) and frog march them on TV for all the world to see. Well, there’s a logical reason for what he’s doing and the way he’s doing it....
