More proof the mental hospitals closed in the 1970s need to be reopened. Almost every mass shooter since then has been a mental case who would have been locked up before they went on a killing spree.

I always have the same question, were there drugs (Rx or street) in his blood? The info rarely makes it into the news.
Drug info should be right up there with criminal and mental history and citizenship status.
And, just a guess, since he does have a history of mental "issues", he probably cannot legally possess a firearm.
