CNN attempted to “fact-check” President Donald Trump live on-air as he announced his decisive action to tackle out-of-control crime in Washington, D.C. Armed with a series of slick-looking charts, the left-leaning network insisted that crime in the nation's capital “isn’t actually a problem,” despite a surge in violent incidents, many committed by juveniles as young as 12, 13, and 14 years old.

CNN....All is well....remain calm
I would suggest the author take a 2 mile walk through he Anacostia neighborhood in Southeast DC about midnight and then report back on DC crime if he survives.
he = the, I have stupid fingers on the keyboard.
Washington is a mostly peaceful city. 🤕
Who said crime isn’t a problem?
It is a big problem for non far left Americans. You can end up dead or beat to hell in a heartbeat.
It is incredible to me that the relatively new owners of CNN - majority stake Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) https://brandsownedby.com/who-owns-cnn/ - would permit CNN to continue to implode and devalue that portion of the portfolio. It speaks to larger motivators.
“Motivators” i.e., the lessons of WEF are being applied before our eyes as they continue to normalize Newspeak to those afflicted under the ‘true pandemic’. The question is whether they decide to lay low for another 3 years and wait it out for their next chapter.
DJT is the only opposition, who continues to shut off the firehoses of $$ which fed them; his security detail better be on their best game.
The DC police union just recently got a captain suspended because they found out he was part of a cabal to lie about violent crimes stats. CNN is putting lives at serious risk.
If they survive that one then they can try walking from Howard University north up Georgia Avenue once it is dark outside.
If they go a couple of blocks east of Georgia Avenue all the way north the odds of getting mugged before reaching the Maryland line approach 100%.
They would rather people die than admit their is a problem.
D.C.’s homicide rate in 2024—roughly 26.4 homicides for every 100,000 residents—is lower than in both 2023 and its peak in the 1990s. But, according to data compiled by the Council on Criminal Justice, it’s still nearly seven times higher than New York City’s rate (3.8 per 100,000).
