Maybe I missed it in the article but I do not see if they provided stats on straight vs all the other “categories” of sexual type. I bet it us much higher in the alphabet community.

Folks, they are not including Genital Warts or Sores (Herpes) or AIDS in this.

They are only talking about curable STDs.

Who cared if you have a curable STD, because you should get cured ASAP.

Good question. When I look up the Chlamydia rates at https://www.cdc.gov/sti-statistics/data-vis/table-ct-rates-raceagesex.html, I see these notable highest percentages (rate per 100,000, starting with highest):

Black female age 20-24: 6,736.8
Black female age 15-19: 6,248.1
Hawaiian/Islander female age 20-24: 4,387.0
Native American/Alaskan female age 20-24: 4,279.5

I didn't see any other groups over 4,000 per 100,000. But for comparison, white females were 1,114.5 (age 15-19) and 1,575.5 (age 20-24).
