Eh, not a big fan of this triangulation that the left used on us back in 2002-ish with those ads on TV using this reasoning to blame Americans for supporting terrorism by buying gasoline.

1) Remove Indian H1B's
2) Stop remittances from the US to India

I don't care who Trump employs: if he hires H1Bs without genuinely looking for an American, then he's simply breaking the law like most of them and being a hypocrite as well.
It's not about who does what but what is against the law and what's best for country as whole.

Country as a whole benefits from cheaper workers, higher corporate profits, keeping corporations in USA instead of outsourcing the work H1-B workers do. Corporations stationed in USA pay federal & local taxes which foreign based corporations do not. Plus a corporation based here employs slew of support staff, building maintenance staff, property tax, utility tax etc.

"In 2023, Mar-a-Lago brought on a total of 136 foreign workers for seasonal work, according to Department of Labor data.
Mar-a-Lago made the following requests for foreign workers: 53 waiters and waitresses, seven hotel desk clerks, 17 housekeeping cleaners, five first-line supervisors of food preparation and serving workers, 24 cooks and five bartenders, according to the Department of Labor.

Corporations can not find Americans workers at competitive wages with foreign workers. Capitalism requires corporations to operate freely. Forcing corporations to hire higher cost workers is fascism. I don’t think fascism is good for the country. It has not worked good where tried.

The political good of a republic, which requires a large middle class, is more important than the profits of individual owners, especially when it is not a matter of making any profit but of making more profit simply be lowering wages by labor arbitrage with poor countries.
Any country that has a free government controls markets. In many cases that produces a corrupt regime that manages to both hyper-regulate and tax while still lowering wages, like the US and Europe now. But not always: I am old enough to remember when almost everything sold was made in the US and almost no immigration and I think we had a better balance between capital and labor and a better society then.
Those countries with the cheapest labor are almost all, unsurprisingly, despotisms or, like India, a corrupt parody of democracy.

Goes beyond the legal mandate Trump has for setting tariffs. He’s risking losing his tariff power completely (per Robert Barnes).

Ukraine and NATO have been the aggressors in Ukraine from th beginning.
We would not tolerate Russia or China doing in Mexico what we have done in Ukraine since 2014.
It's past time for Trump to tell Ukraine to take any deal it can get or cut them off. That will end the war.
