Donald Trump recently announced that the United States would help Pakistan develop its "massive oil reserves," suggesting it could export oil to India in the future. In response, Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch has written an open letter to the US president, highlighting how encouraging the exploitation of Balochistan's oil reserves would make the US complicit in enabling ISI to enhance its global terror networks.
In his letter, the Baloch leader warned against allowing Pakistan's radicalised military and rogue ISI, long accused of sponsoring Al-Qaeda and various proxy groups responsible for the deaths of thousands of US soldiers in Afghanistan, access to these resources. He also stressed that the oil reserves are located in Balochistan, which he said is "illegally occupied" by Pakistan.
"Such access would significantly enhance the operational and financial capabilities of the ISI, enabling it to expand its global terror networks, recruit more militants, and potentially facilitate large-scale attacks reminiscent of 9/11," he said.
Mir Yar Baloch asserted that these untapped reserves of oil, natural gas, copper, lithium, uranium, and rare earth minerals belong to the Republic of Balochistan. "#BalochistanIsNotPakistan Your recognition of the vast oil and mineral reserves in the region is indeed accurate. However, with due respect, it is imperative to inform your administration that you have been gravely misled by the Pakistani military leadership, particularly General Asim Munir, and by their diplomatic channels regarding the true geography and ownership of these critical resources," he remarked.
Mir Yar Baloch further shared how Balochistan's "stolen resources" would not benefit its people but instead be funneled into strengthening anti-India and anti-Israel jihadist proxies, further destabilising South Asia and the broader international order.
"Preventing Pakistan’s exploitation of Balochistan is not just a matter of justice for the Baloch people—it is a matter of global security. There is no doubt: Balochistan is not for sale. We will not permit Pakistan, China, or any other foreign power to exploit our land or its resources without the explicit consent of the Baloch people," he asserted.
Trump on Wednesday announced what he described as a "major trade agreement" with Pakistan to jointly explore and develop the country's sizeable oil reserves. Trump said a yet-to-be-named American oil company will spearhead the partnership and that Pakistani crude could "maybe" be sold to India in the future.

Baloch Lives Matter?
Baloch population is a small fragment of the entire population of Pakistan, and is a sparsely settled majority in Iran, with a small number living in Afghanistan as well.
Post about Baloch population from Cronos, I can’t find mine (actually, too lazy to look hard):

Make Pakistan Great Again?
Make Pakistan the terrorist nation it always wanted to become ...
I will only support them after they put a John Balushi statue in the main square of Quetta. (Yes, I know he was Albanian, but just for his name.)
