They used to provide things like Captain Kangaroo and Mister Rodgers Neighborhood to educate kids, and shows like Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, Square One, etc. All clean, fun shows for kids to learn. Also brought shows over from other countries like Britain - like the old school “MYSTERY!” series that featured these shows. So then, yes, they did.

Now what do we have? Shows pushing the leftist agenda on both kids and adults - cartoons featuring same sex marriage, pride month, etc. PBS Newshour is hardly the McNeil-Lehrer Newshour. They squandered and ended that mandate when they started garbage like this.
