Trump’s Supporters Aren’t Going Anywhere
The American Spectator ^ | July 30, 2025, 10:04 PM | J.T. Young

Over 10 years, Trump has forged an incredible and undeniable record.

Despite Democrats’ hopes, the Epstein files saga won’t separate Trump from his base. Trump’s supporters have stuck with him through far worse over the last 10 years. Not only have they “stuck,” they have increased in number and intensity. Only Democrats’ delusions — and desperate need — lead them to believe Trump’s supporters won’t “stick” now.

The Jeffrey Epstein files are perfect headline fodder: salacious scandal involving famous men and underage girls. Epstein’s suspicious suicide in jail prevented all the dirty laundry from getting washed in public.

How much more dirty laundry exists is beside the point: The public wants to see more and wants it so badly they’re convinced it exists. Further, Attorney General Pam Bondi raised expectations. In such a case as Epstein’s, raised expectations only leads to public disappointment… and to Democrat opportunity.

But while there can’t be a definitive verdict on files we haven’t yet seen, there can be one on Trump and his base. They will stay with Trump.

Trump was, is, and will forever be a divisive political figure. Yet this fact only elevates his political accomplishments.

In 2016, Trump won the Republican nomination in a tightly contested field. In 2020, Trump was the incumbent and there was no contest. In 2024 again, there was no contest. Trump is the only candidate to win three consecutive major party presidential nominations since FDR did so in 1944.

In his three presidential campaigns — the only three campaigns for elective office he has ever run — he has won two. After the first, Trump increased his popular vote and his percentage of the popular vote each time. Even FDR did not do that.

What Trump overcame in accomplishing these feats elevates them even further. In his first presidential run,...

Why did Democrats block every effort by the GOP to release the Epstein information while they held the White House, the US House and the US Senate?

Why now do Democrats suddenly pretend they want to release the info but are doing nothing about their tame Judge in FL who is still blocking the release of this information?

That’s for sure.

The Dims/Communist Left has never been in this sad of shape and vulnerable. Our side had better take full advantage of the situation. The Left must be given no quarter and fully exposed for all to see and destroyed.

Nothing will change my mind about Trump. Character stays the same over the years and he has the character I want in a president. Who cares about a few details? I want the big picture, and he’s the BIGGEST!

It’s not like his supporters are going to vote Dem but it’s independents who decide elections and they can go either way.

That’s funny, you talk about independents then post a poll about white voters.

Ugh…can you imagine what a disaster she would have been? 😖

Obama needs to be marginalized. As long as that creep is lurking in DC with his enemy “shadow government,” he and his minions remain a threat to all that is good about our nation.

Google it yourself. Independents are at least 48% white some older polls have much higher figures probably because many more minorities are now claiming to be independent. In the last election they went for Trump but went for the Dems in most of the other races. That’s why I say if we lose them we lose the midterms.

He stuck with crowing about Operation Warp Speed which ultimately was unpopular wiyh MAGA. Trump is one of one. He will cram 80% good stuff, 10% bad stuff, and 10% pointless vanity which is his perogative. I’ll take it.

Aggressive immigration enforcement.

Ending post WWII and Cold War era trade policies that hit American pocketbooks hard.

Restoring executive branch constitutional power from unelected government employees and the judiciary.

Restoring sanity with the end of DIE policies.

It continues....

Best president of my life!
