A leaked BBC memo instructing staff to blame Israel and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation for Gaza's food crisis has sparked outrage and accusations of bias, as critics question the broadcaster's commitment to impartiality and responsible journalism.
A leaked internal BBC memo titled “Covering the food crisis in Gaza” has ignited a firestorm of controversy, with allegations that it directs staff to blame Israel and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) for the region’s ongoing food shortages. The document, first reported by *The Spectator* on Monday, explicitly instructs journalists to frame the aid system as nonfunctional and attribute the humanitarian failure solely to Israel and GHF, while dismissing logistical data about aid deliveries as “irrelevant.”
The memo calls for omitting or downplaying Hamas’s role in obstructing or redirecting aid. This directive has raised serious questions about the BBC’s commitment to impartiality, a cornerstone of its public service mandate. Critics argue that the memo oversimplifies a complex situation, sidelining other contributing factors and undermining basic journalistic principles of impartiality and not presenting skewed data to push a false and harmful narrative.

The entry point with Egypt into Gaza is open and aid does goes through there. However, the MSM does not tell you that those trucks loaded with food and other aid for the people of Gaza are immediately commandeered by Hamas. They give the supplied to their soldiers and, if any is left over, the add a 16% tax onto its value and then sell it to the people of Gaza. Because this paints Hamas for who they really are, the media don’t tell you what’s really going on.
The UN is behind the starvation crap
[post SURPRISE, SURPRISE! meme here]
Bttt
The only thing surprising about this is they had to write it down.
You would think the BBC staff would know this instinctively.
/sarcasm
It’s not America or Israel’s job to feed them. They want to be their own state. They need to act like it. We don’t need another crap hole that looks to America to buy them groceries. That’s the UN’s job. The UN needs to start up a GoFundMe page for Gaza. America has already adopted and is feeding and sheltering every freeloading Socialist in the western hemisphere and Afrika.
Yes. Feed the World concert worked so well. /s
Ah comedy
Thant’s right Marxists - load up in your jack-boots and get in locked goose step.
All conversations should have stopped at the source. POLITICO is owned lock, stock, and barrel by the DNC, got it?
Help! I’m in Gaza! I just got smacked on the head by yet another food airdrop. I’ve fallen and I can’t get up! There’s a crate on me. And I’m sick of Spaggheti-os! Humanitarian crisis!
Bismillah! Here comes another one! Please stop!
If the BBC were a private company, they would have sued out of existence years ago for Jimmy Savile.
Absolutely
