Targeting a desired demographic for a product is as old as advertising.
You don’t see Mercedes Benz ads at the NASCAR races, because they know that audience is not going to buy their product.
Putting a beautiful woman in an ad for women’s clothing is as normal as can be. The fact that it’s a Caucasian woman means more of the potential customer base will identify with that.
How that makes it nazi or racist is only through the lens of post modern ultra leftist viewpoint.
Today’s woke hysteria is jeans.

Let's be honest. They knew they were pushing these buttons, as did Sweeney, who freely went along with it ("Jeans. See what I did there?" she quips in one of the ads.)
Personally, I think the ads are great. I've posted a few threads about them. Click on the sidneysweeney keyword. They're doing what an ad is supposed to do. Cause controversy, get people to talk about them in the national discourse, and ultimately, raise sales.
The added bonus is that they're pissing off the most insufferable people amongst us, people who are having a very difficult time accepting that the vibe has shifted.

Jeans for white women fit white women (medium derriere). American Eagle is the new Gloria Vanderbilt, I hope. Jeans for black women are cut differently (big derriere) and also some brands for Asians (flat derriere). The Left needs to take a grow up pill - there is no one size fits all in blue jeans for women. What next, white tennis shoes are raciss?

Why don’t they just make it illegal to be White and get it over with? Or start loading us into the boxcars. You know they want to. They couldn’t talk about any other race the way they talk about Whites. What’s it going to be like when Whites are an even smaller percentage of the population? What will it be like for our kids and grandkids? About time we started thinking about it.
