Four people were killed when a gunman stormed into a New York City skyscraper at the end of the business day on Monday.

An off-duty New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer, a security guard, a Blackstone executive and a Rudin employee were fatally wounded at 345 Park Avenue at 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan.

Authorities said Monday night that a fifth victim had been shot and was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

The accused gunman – identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura – died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the 33rd floor of the building, according to police.

The building houses offices for the Blackstone Group, the National Football League (NFL), Rudin Management Company and "Big Four" accounting firm KPMG, among other businesses.

BlackRock vs Blackstone

BlackRock and Blackstone are two of the largest investment firms in New York. Although they have similar names, they’re managed by different parties, and each has a unique service to offer clients.

BlackRock originated in 1988 as an asset management company for institutional investors.

Blackstone was founded in 1985 by former employees of Lehman Brothers . Its original focus was on mergers and acquisitions. Blackstone has evolved into the world's biggest private equity firm and alternative investment strategy company.

The short of it, more info at link.

Two security guards were killed, not one.

They are.

The perp drove in from out of state and brought his weapon.

I’ve read that a “helper” purchased the lower receiver. And shooter assembled it from a kit. A very cheap one.

I think that this is a cross between political violence and insanity.

It will take a while to get all the details examined. And hopefully a good analysis will arrive at the motive of these murders.

We better expect more and more of this with the fascist, commie bass turds out there pimping death and destruction across America. All their “F” bombs, Molotov cocktails and beating up old ladies mean something and it’s not that they are just pissed off because they got their goatsmellin’ butts kicked in the last presidential election. The Caribbeaner cocktail girls are going to get their butts kicked again in 2026.

I am not concerned with motive, every one of these turds has one that psychologists try and justify in some sad way to make them a victim. He is an evil, murdering coward.

The off-duty cop was not visiting the building, he worked there as a security guard, just like the other security guard, they both died working as the building security guards.

Had the shooter walked into the building with a Henry rifle made in 1860, loaded with 16 rounds, could he have killed the same number? Absolutely.
The use of one type of rifle is just a ploy to ban more firearms. He could have done the same with a Remington semi-auto rifle made in 1906.

As for the screaming that it holds too much ammo! Remember in 1963 they screamed that the 5 shot bolt action Army Surplus Rifle was “evil” because it was “military” and needed to be banned, which it was from 1968 to the 1980s when it was finally admitted it was not an “evil” rifle.

Mass shootings took off like a rocket only AFTER the mental hospitals were closed in the 1970s and the crazies dumped on the streets.
