France will recognise a Palestinian state in September at the United Nations General Assembly, President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday (Jul 24), a move aimed at reviving momentum for a two-state solution but one that drew immediate condemnation from Israel.
In a letter addressed to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and posted on social media, Macron confirmed France’s decision and said it would encourage others to follow.
"True to its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognise the State of Palestine," Macron said. "I will make this solemn announcement at the United Nations General Assembly next September." France would become the first major Western country to formally recognise a Palestinian state, potentially strengthening a campaign previously led by smaller, more critical nations of Israel’s conduct in the region.

They need a homeland. Since the surrender monkeys love them so much why not France?
What would anyone expect from a muslim country(France.)
If the Israelis do not like the idea of a Palestinian state, just annex all the territories and give the Arabs full and equal citizenship.
just annex all the territories and give the Arabs full and equal citizenship.“
Yeah, that will work sure
Macron is dumbassed pipsqueak who can’t even take care of his own country.
France is going down the shitter because of his idiocy.
If the Israelis do not like the idea of a Palestinian state, just annex all the territories and give the Arabs full and equal citizenship.
****************
There is already a defacto Palestinian State called the West Bank/Judea/Samaria Area.
Historically, it’s just a “matter of time” before a territory becomes a state.
Candace Owens should be happy with this decision why does she go after Macron about his wife being a man?
Time for Israel to recognise the independent states of Corsica and Brittany.
Good question. Why not France? I think Netanyahu would approve of that.
Yeah, eff the cheese-eating surrender monkeys.
France sacrificed around 1.5 million men in WW1.
France fought in WW2, but were defeated. Their Maginot Line didn't hold.
Even so, according to Wiki, France suffered 210,000 military deaths in WW2 (doesn't include civilian deaths).
The U.S. suffered 250,000 military deaths in WW2 in Europe (doesn't include the Pacific theater).
That's surprisingly close, especially considering that France had a much smaller population in 1940 than the U.S. (42 million vs. 132 million),
You’re being funny, but I believe that is already a huge factor.
France has become a sort of homeland for many of them, with 13% of France’s population practicing Islam.

That impacts the policy makers because these people tend to be very homogeneous in how they vote (even in the US), what they believe, and they are willing to throw their money, or even cause civil unrest (if not more) behind issues they champion.
13% that is very tight and willing to use force, carries political weight.
Does France still own Devil's Island? Put the palestinians there. The name fits.
Yes, French Guyana is still - - - french. And the Devil’s Island is part of French Guyana. A very good idea actually!
As you say the name fits and I have a bone to pick with the Guyanese, so I would dearly like them to be invaded by the palis.
In 1992 there was a referendum in France (and in some other EEC countries also) about the reforming of the EEC or EC into a federal state, the EU. A very small majority of the French (ie those who lived and voted in France) were against this. However, the peoples in the French colonies -including Guyana - voted for EU with large enough majorities to actually produce a “petit oui”. One must assume that Wayampi Indians read the new treaty carefully before using it to wrap their tapir meat.
In any case their votes helped to change the history of the European peoples and of course abet the muslim invasion of the West.
So, a most splendid and proper idea.
But according to the same source (Wiki) of those 212 000 there were 38.000 French soldiers who died fighting for Germany during WWII. Also, the source does not account for how many French soldiers died fighting for the Vichy regime (Mers-el-Kébir, Operation Torch, Syria etc).
On the other hand about 24 000 died as part of the French resistance. (May their names never be forgotten.)

Macron’s unilateral “declaration” of a “Palestinian” state didn’t say WHERE it would be. I can now disclose that France will offer the French Riviera & the new nation will be called “Franc-en-Stine.”
LOL. What an ambassdor!
His wife should hit him again, harder.
