Ukrainians are taking to the streets after the passage of a controversial bill threatening the autonomy of two anti-corruption agencies.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is now facing the largest protests since Russia’s 2022 invasion. Demonstrators gathered outside the presidential administration in Kyiv, while other protests took place in smaller cities across the country.
European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos expressed concern over the vote, saying "the dismantling of key safeguards protecting NABU’s independence is a serious step back."
The Ukrainian government’s latest move risks endangering its bid to join the European Union, as a crackdown on internal corruption is a requirement. Additionally, it could strain the warming relationship between Zelenskyy and President Donald Trump, who has accused the Ukrainian leader of being a "dictator without elections."

Russia gets the lands under the two referendums and Ukraine can keep Odesa...
These “anti-corruption” groups were started by Soros and President Trump told Z to nuke them as payback their their involvement in the Impeachment Hoax. Not a good look for your side to be pimping for Soros “anti-corruption” activists.
These autonomous anti-corruption agencies were set up by the United States after the 2014 coup. They were designed to keep whomever Ukraine elected in the future on a short leash.
Zelenski is showing his true colors with this move, lets see how the pro-war factions spin this.
Joke post?
You cannot be serious.
Did you forget about when Rudy Giuliani called out these Soros “anti corruption” activist groups when they were working with the DemoRats to impeach President Trump?
The question nobody is focusing on is who is paying for the rent a mob protesters?
Tell these Soros “anti-corruption” groups to apologize to President Trump for their collaboration with the DemoRats in the Impeachment Hoax.
Soros, now that their USAID funds were cut off. Also ask who paid to print their posters.
The US and some other foreign leaders are rumored to be done with Zelensky.

The liberal media went psycho at the time for Giuliani calling out these Soros “anti-corruption” groups. Remember?

“That was George Soros-funded NGOs who were also in bed with the State Department. They were in bed with each other during that time, in the name of anti-corruption and it really means that Soros goes after his competitors.”
“Now, let me bring this full circle, this is my last point here,” she continued. “The whistle-blower sprinkles throughout his document’s footnotes referring to a publication with the initials ‘OCCRP.’ One guess, Sean, who funds OOCRP? George Soros.”
Regardless of which administration set them up, the two ‘autonomous’ agencies were a way for the United States to keep the Ukrainian government corruption in check.
The irony here is Zelenski blaming Russian influence on his decision to remove the autonomy when in fact these agencies were under the direct control of the US Embassy in Kiev.
Even a tool like you can see the significance of that.
Remember?
