Every time I see her face I recall advice I was given traveling in the Pacific. Never, ever **** with a Samoan. Merely looking them straight in their eyes invites a fight. They really picked the wrong woman to insult.
And yet John McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone, was deemed ok to run in 2008.

However, John McCain was born on a US military base in Panama while his father was stationed there. Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona Territory before Arizona became a state. Both were considered natural born citizens even though they weren't born in CONUS.
Their eligibility was confirmed, else they would not have made it to election day.

You’re right. I was thinking only elected (or appointed) presidents. I’d forgotten about Goldwater. The Dems tried to twist McCain’s birthplace to deflect from Obama’s murky circumstance.
Wasn’t she accompanied on flights with a bomb-sniffing dog, its handler, and a few other agents? Wasn’t the same true for an African (-named) actor who had done skits for the Babylon Bee?
I am very pleased with her clear and plain spoken logic and apparent integrity. She could be a contender in what I expect to be a very crowded field of rising stars on the right. The left really has nobody and a position of no appeal to many on their own side.
Vance is nowhere near a shoe in. He has lots of excellent competition. The next president will win on a great vision he can sell with enthusiasm and confidence that he can deliver.
But she did run for Prez already. Per Wiki she was born in American Samoa, does that not make you a US Citizen?
