Barack Obama spent this week doing what Barack Obama loves to do most — making headlines about Barack Obama talking about what a wonderful guy Barack Obama is.
My Townhall colleague Leah Barkoukis had some of the details earlier this week, after Obama lectured Dems to get out of their “fetal positions” and “toughen up,” as the party's approval rating sank to a new all-time low of just 19%.
"Remember when we did all that winning when I, Barack Obama, was in charge? Yeah, that was awesome."
Then there's this gem from Obama's appearance Wednesday on Michelle Obama and her brother Craig Robinson's struggling IMO podcast: "Men need a gay friend to show them empathy and kindness."
...
I can't even begin to tell you what a nothingburger that is. By the time I was 19, my second-favorite teacher, first radio mentor, and high school sweetheart were all gay. That last one admittedly put a damper on our romance. The point, though, is that they all added tremendously to my life and education, and none of what they added had anything to do with their sexuality.
My story is hardly unique, but as X user Oliver Sherouse reminded me last night, "The first law of being Barack Obama is that nobody has ever done or experienced anything before him."

I think fewer and fewer Dems worship Obama.
But Obama still worships Obama. Devoutly.
In that regard, Obama has replaced Bill Clinton. The Dim media used to every now and then trot out former president Clinton as their way to shed a fake ray of enlightenment and glory onto their failing brand.
By every measure and every polling result, race relations got significantly worse soon after he took office, and kept rolling downhill for all 8 of his years.
The Left, and most especially the Black Grievance Industry, do not want anything close to improves racial relations. It would destroy them both.
Trump put an end to that. Clinton was embarrassed so he has decided to remain low-key ever since then.
I know the general population is pretty ignorant. And perhaps young people even more so. But I believe a lot of young people (and older people) feel that the American Dream pretty much died in 2008 with the financial crisis. People lost houses and jobs. The government bailed out the banks that caused the problem. Deficit spending took off. And there is a mountain of derivatives that never really got resolved. We’ve been kicking a can down the road for many decades, but after 2008, it got much worse. Who was president from 2008 to 2016? Who didn’t fix any of this? Obama is not a solution to anything and people see it.
Second thought: Gay men need straight men friends so they can learn how to be men.
Obama will always be a Piece of Obama. He’s as evil as they come.
well, they all need a gay friend, so...
Many millions of well-meaning white Americans voted for Obama”
Many millions of stupid, America hating, white Americans voted for Obama.
The Left decided to “shoot their shot” with Obama.
He didn’t solve anything, and made things worse; much worse, for some people.
That set back the Left’s “long march” for at least a generation. Everything the Baby Boom left had been building toward, Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn and their ilk, went up in smoke with Obama.
And everyone saw it happen.
My children, both strongly conservative, one in the military, got their politics as teenagers from South Park and Family Guy. And those shows are unabashedly cynical about the Left and it’s idealistic poppycock. My daughter was greatly influenced by The Hunger Games, which is clearly negative toward centralized power and the Main Stream Media.
‘But Obama still worships Obama. Devoutly’
He, Xiden and Jimmuh Cawtuh were the worst Presidents in U.S history!
Exactly.
Self-hating too.
Obozo was supposed to cure all our racial problems. Instead he made them worse.
on poipuss
He continues to have world class teleprompter delivery accompanied with his head smoothly moving as though he isn’t reading it at all.
I’ve wondered if, besides the words, there are little physical sympbols that cue him to point his finger one way or another.
Symbols
A substantial number of them voted for him to prove to themselves, and others, that they were not racist ... and in their minds voting for an accomplishment-free individual such as Obama would prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
