Watch the video at the link, it's painfully obvious it caught Colbert by surprise that his contract renegotiation.
If you parse his announcement, it's obvious TrumpII demanded Colbert's scalp on the qt as part of the 60 Minutes settlement to grease the skids for Shari Redstone's big, amazing, yuge, Trumptastic merger of Paramount Global with Skydance.
This is without a doubt the best slow-fused MSM revenge play by TrumpII thus far.
Yeah TrumpII emptied out MSNBC and CNN, but Lemon and Acosta didn't have Colbert's shithead-but-loyal audience and demos.
His producers didn't like him, the network didn't like him, Corden didn't like him and quit CBS despite making a shitton of money for himself and CBS -- and Corden is a globalist-level, entitled-class prick-on-wheels.
