The co-founder of retail giant Home Depot said he is 'sold on Trump' after slamming the president's tariffs as 'bulls***' months ago.
Billionaire Ken Langone made the surprise about-face during an interview on CNBC's Squawk Box Tuesday, adding that Trump 'has a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever.'
Langone, 89, had previously said that he was afraid Trump would spend the next four years 'getting even,' admitting he made a 'mistake.'

Good. I already dumped Lowe’s for Home Depot because HD has better inventory, better customer service and a great shipping policy which includes a lot of free and fast shipping and no hassle returns.
Now maybe Ken can do something about HD’s wonky website.
Agreed. After what democrats have done, and tried to do, to Trump in the last 10 years, I wish he would take a ‘scorched earth’ policy towards them!
I know a lot of important people who despise Trump. You just wonder how they got where they are with so little ability to judge character.
Langone is pretty much a blowhard who tries to be on the winning side. In my opinion.
If he could keep his plumbing fittings in stock, I’d have more respect for him...but even so, I still love his stores.

That was my first love of Big Box stores. In the small hardware stores, I was always followed around by the owners...it drove me nuts, particularly after I stopped shoplifting on a regular basis. Home Depot never bothered me.

I sold my business and retired 10 years ago. 6 months later I was bored to death.
I took a job at Home Depot as an outside sales consultant with their Home Depot Installation Services. I must say, it’s an awesome job and Home Depot is a great employer.
It would be a great place to start a career. The advancement potential is huge. I believe there’s more employees who have become millionaires working for Home Depot than any other company in America.
