ENFIELD — The 18-year old Waterbury resident arrested in connection with an Enfield crash that seriously injured two Connecticut State Police troopers July 10 is in the United States illegally and will be detained and arrested, according to federal officials.

Caiza-Nishue was arrested around 11 a.m. Friday and charged with reckless driving, traveling too fast for the conditions of the roadway, failure to maintain lane and operating a motor vehicle without a license, police said in a release.
A witness told police that they thought the 18-year-old was driving at speeds up to 85 mph when the accident occurred, officials said during his arraignment ..
