Joe Rogan used his latest podcast episode to weigh in on the Epstein files controversy amid public uproar over the Department of Justice’s probe into the late pedophile and his associates.
The podcast giant lambasted the Trump administration’s announcement that there was never a list or footage revealing clients of the high-flying sex pest.
“They’ve got videotape and all a sudden they don’t,” Rogan, 57, said on the latest episode of his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” released Tuesday.
“You had the director of the FBI on this show saying, ‘If there was [a videotape], nothing you’re looking for is on those tapes,'” Rogan added, referring to Director Kash Patel’s appearance on the show in June.
“Like, what? Why’d they say there was thousands of hours of tapes of people doing horrible s–t? Why’d they say that? Didn’t Pam Bondi say that?”
Rogan was referring to comments Attorney General Pam Bondi made on July 1 — just days before the Department of Justice announced there was no “Epstein List” or incriminating footage of the disgraced financier’s associates — in which she told reporters the FBI was reviewing “tens of thousands of videos” of Epstein “with children or child porn.”
And months earlier, Bondi intimated that the supposed Epstein List was on her desk waiting for review — though she later clarified that there was an Epstein investigation file ready for her review, not the so-called list at the center of countless conspiracy theories.
The turnaround comes after President Trump spent months talking about plans to release everything the government had on Epstein and his associates — even publishing “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” to great fanfare in February. Next to nothing new was revealed in those files.

When Biden was doing this, people here were rightfully apoplectic. When Trump does it, it is 4D chess or something.

Megyn Kelly, for all her faults, promises to remain committed to the case and holding the Trump Admin accountable even as she is biased toward them politically and has friends in it…She refuses to just be a propaganda yes-man. So that’s encouraging if she follows through!

All I can say is that Trump is taking shots from nearly everybody including his daughter in law and the Republican speaker of the house.
I’m not sure how many more rounds, I mean new cycles folk can keep punching before they are punched out.
The only that’s certain is that our government can’t be trusted.
Whether the whole thing was made up by the CIA or the list is actually being with held. Either way America loses and the government wins.

You are right and I actually didn’t give the Epstein stuff much thought till now. The last time I paid attention to it was during the Prince Andrew BBC interview fallout…
What IS illuminating though is what all this reveals about the state of the conservative movement…And I agree we can’t have conservatism hinge on blind loyalty to Trump (nor any one individual) and of course not blind loyalty to party either — yet the everything-is-conspiracy are totally sabotaging too…Almost to a nihilistic degree.

I also wish people valued Elon Musk more despite how immaturely he can act. Trump & MAGA owe a lot to him. And he continues to put so much on the line just to run X and promote free speech in this country.
We know for a fact that former Congress-critters have files on them—one name exposed in old litigation was former (Democrat) Majority Leader Mitchell of Maine.
It is reasonably likely that there are files on some of the more senior sitting members of Congress.
Of course most of them should retire anyway since they are so old....
That may explain why the younger members of Congress (both parties) are calling for full disclosure.
They would be thrilled to rise in the ranks stepping over the bodies of some senior citizens.
Congress is always the problem.
The complexity here is that Democrats who are ever ready to attack Trump on any issue, any time, any place are showing an unusual amount of restraint.
The Republican wing of the uniparty clearly is lost on this issue.
The Republican house majority votes to block and the Republican speaker gives an opposite message.
I have never seen political and ideological splits so head scratching.
