President Donald Trump has finally lost patience with Vladimir Putin. Having promised a “major” announcement on Russia, Trump has now confirmed that the US will dramatically increase weapons supplies to Europe for use in Ukraine and threatened 100 per cent secondary tariffs on Russia’s trade partners. Trump would only provide Russia with an off-ramp if Putin agreed to a ceasefire in Ukraine within 50 days.

This Major announcement is turning out to be a nothing burger.
Bush APPROVAL, NOT WIN IN ELECTIONS.
Repeatedly:
Putin 2000 53%
Putin 2004 72%
Putin 2012 64%
Putin 2018 77%
Putin 2024 88%
As I said. It’s against Ukraine’s Constitution (the law) to organize elections during a war, for elementary and obvious reasons and based on all the points I described to you.
Every single party in Ukraine is upholding the law. No one in Ukraine, not even Zelensky’s opponents wants that. Why do you want them to become outlaws?
Since no one in Ukraine want that law changed - not even Zelensky’s opponents -, why are you desperately trying to be more royalist than the king??
Nonsensical.
WOW! excellent chart you sent there tlozo.
Basically, it says that the deep-state in Russia and Belarus have rigged the electoral system for ever. Thus, Putin will remain in power till his death. That is Kremlin-style democracy.
Yes, because NO ONE WAS INVADING AND CONQUERING THE US.
Better example is Britain, who cancelled election in WW2 because they faced daily bombings, like Ukraine..
“Plus of course the US held elections fine in WWI and WWII.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Are you listening to yourself?
No German bombs were dropped every day on villages, towns and cities in America. Thus, very easy to organize elections.
Furthermore, the U.S. Constitution does not forbid holding elections during war.
“Trump will now rearm Europe just as I said he would endlessly here on FR. “
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but the elephant in the room is nobody is talking about Presidential Draw-down Authority, leaving existing US stocks, worst case, what Biden authorized.
So NATO (sans US) has to get in line on new production...along with everybody else. They submit a Purchase Order and await a Firm Order Commitment.
Is there information you’re aware of that is contrary to that?
Again. America’s constitution does not forbid elections during war.
The constitution of Ukraine forbids it.
I can repeat it all night if you want.
During WWII, If mainland America had been bombarded every day and 20% of its mainland territory OCCUPIED by German troops and millions of Americans displaced and/or held hostage by occupying German forces (this is the situation Ukraine now is in), Washington would most probably have paused any elections, even though America’s constitution doesn’t state that it’s necessary.
AGAIN:
Roughly 8 million (!) Ukrainians have been displaced, and millions more remain in Russian-occupied territories where Ukrainian media, internet access, and civil rights have been completely extinguished. In these regions, Russian forces commit war crimes, torture civilians, and enforce their rule at gunpoint. How can free, fair, and secure elections be held when a significant portion of the population is living under a brutal foreign occupation or scattered across the globe as refugees? Can you answer THAT question?
Also:
Germany or Japan have NEVER occupied mainland America. Right?
Germany or Japan have never occupied Peal Harbor. Right?
Don’t compare what isn’t comparable.
Your attention is invited to post #110
One could say the same about an election in the Ukraine; there's a reason Zelensky shut down the elections.
!!!!!

Well, the U.S. Department of Defense has explicitly stated that transfers under the Presidential Drawdown Authority are strategically managed and monitored to avoid critical gaps in U.S. readiness.
In May 2023, the Pentagon began accelerating replenishment contracts to rebuild stocks with newer and more advanced systems — often better than those sent abroad. Example:
U.S. sent old HAWK and Stinger systems to Ukraine, but is now ramping up production of newer systems (e.g., NASAMS, Patriot upgrades, modern HIMARS).
Multiple NATO countries have already jointly negotiated large-scale contracts to replenish and expand their own stocks. Just a few examples:
In 2023, Germany and other NATO members invested billions through the European Sky Shield Initiative.
The EU created a joint munitions procurement program with €2 billion in funding for 155mm shells.
The UK and France have their own missile and shell production contracts already underway, with deliveries ongoing since 2023.
IMPORTANT:
Presidential Drawdown Authority is temporary and flexible
Congress has capped and approved PDA transfers — currently at $4 billion I believe for FY2025. It’s not a secret backdoor or unchecked power.
PDA is also not the only aid mechanism. The U.S. is now using more of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) — a procurement-based aid system that doesn’t come from existing stocks.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Production bottlenecks are being addressed GLOBALLY !!
Yes, there were delays — but they’ve been acknowledged and addressed.
Artillery and missile production in the U.S., EU, and UK is now at Cold War-era levels, with new factories and shifts working around the clock.
THUS:
The “ELEPHANT” in the room... has been addressed and resolved through coordinated action, investment, and procurement reform.
Trump will now rearm Europe (combined with EU production) just as I said he would endlessly here on FR.
Trump is making the US / EU Military Industrial Complex Great Again!
Good for the American and EU worker.
Trump has now confirmed that the US will dramatically increase weapons supplies to Europe for use in Ukraine and threatened 100 per cent secondary tariffs on Russia’s trade partners.
Nothing short of nuclear weapons is significant. Every wonder weapon has failed. Nukes can create a draw where everyone loses.
Russia's trade partners include the majority of the world.
Trump would only provide Russia with an off-ramp if Putin agreed to a ceasefire in Ukraine within 50 days.
What happens in 50 days? Trump declares Taco Tuesday?
Fighting a forever war that isn't in our national interest is something Trump campaigned against.

Well this is the client list you might say.
