But had no problem vociferously defending Biden’s Student Loan policy.
Even after SCOTUS shot it down.

This is Reuters. Their commentary would not be worth a cup of warm spit to me.
Any other sources that comment on this and the reasons?
Reasons could range from they are disgusted to the money isn’t good enough to they aren’t needed.

Roto-Reuters.
I believe they live in the sewer and are part of fake news.
I don’t take their word for anything.

Sixty-nine of the roughly 110 lawyers in the Federal Programs Branch have voluntarily left the unit since President Donald Trump's election in November or have announced plans to leave, according to the list compiled by former Justice Department lawyers and reviewed by Reuters. If they were civil employees, they were not supposed to be "politically motivated".

Thank God and Greyhound they’re gone.
Now they can hire some real attorneys, not just Rat Party undercover operatives.

They were probably just going to sabotage from within if they hadn’t left/been let go.

Didn’t Trump intentionally assign some of the problem liberals to this unit? rather than fire them?

Their willingly departing is better than having to fire them.
