Just two days after officially starting a new role, a newly appointed assistant city manager in Vallejo, Calif., is facing public scrutiny over a series of racially charged posts allegedly linked to a now-deleted social media account.
Nalungo Conley, 51, was named Vallejo’s second assistant city manager on Monday, July 8, ending a months-long vacancy. The city had described her as someone who would “bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and leadership to our community.” But by Wednesday, screenshots surfaced showing posts attributed to the X account @nalungomc1, with content that described white people as “evil” and accused white women of raising “bigoted white boys.”
The account, which featured Conley’s name and profile photo, had been active since July 2024 and was followed by more than 370 users before it was taken down.

I think this falls under the “Scott Adams Doctrine”
That’s a man.
I don’t think a bigoted black woman has much room to talk about “raising... boys”. Geez. What an idiot.

She’s a Marxist and that’s how they work.
People need to understand where these people are coming from.

It’s always amusing to step back and see how stupid people are.
In our country, the big deal was slavery. The media falsely portrayed white people as the bad guys. Lots of black people were fooled by the propaganda, so then they thought it was okay to hate white people.
Now, on this site, we have white people making it okay to hate all black people.
A reminder: the pigment in skin color does not cause violent crime, and it doesn’t cause racism. Violent crime and racism are caused by mental defect.
That’s a man, baby!
My thoughts exactly.
No disagreement here.
Mariano Vallejo was a social liberal with enlightened political ideals.
He was actually eager to join the United States in 1846, and was elected a State Senator as soon as the new State of California was formed.
Most of Sonoma County was deeded to him by the Spanish King prior to the Bear Flag Rebellion. He gave it up but was allowed to retain 800 acres as patent land by the new California Republic. The city across the Sacramento river from Vallejo, called Benicia, is named after his wife.
All in all a great and noble man who withstood some injustices but believed in a land of social equality and democracy, something the Mexican government of his time did not.
There was not one black person living on that land when he was the empresario of it. They came to Vallejo to work at Mare Island Naval Station during WWII as the White men were all drafted. That was all of 85 years ago. Now they are about 15% of the population. Vallejo is now majority “hispanic”, although not by much. Asians (cough, dot Indians) and *gasp* White people are larger groups.
So uh...why is Ms. Angry African in any capacity of government there? Minority rule?
Gen. Vallejo would be appalled. He was a Spanish nobleman.
