Does the flight data recorder say the same thing? I suppose it’s not physically impossible that it happened during the crash. Not very likely, but I’d want to see agreement between their physical position and what the recorder says.

Ignore delta7. He is often wrong or misleading. The data IS from the FDR.
Please note that the caption does not say found, he says ‘were placed’.
More data was released indicating one of the crew members put them back to run. One engine restarted but the other did not.
In the interim report that was just released, the plane had liftoff and reached its maximum speed about 4 seconds later. Then (according to black box data) both fuel cutoff switches were changed from Run to Cutoff, one after the other within 1 second of each other. position one after another with a time gap of 01 sec. One of the pilots is heard asking the other, “Why did you cutoff.” The other pilot said “I didn’t.” The report doesn’t say which pilot said what. Switches were turned back to Run, with a couple of seconds between the two.
At the very least, I would expect a legitimate action to be announced over the radio, and heard by a voice recorder.
